The most epic gamer in the world! 😎 I play a variety of games on my channel including Sonic Adventure, Animal Crossing, classic Gamecube/N64 era games, and more! Sometimes we're doing challenge runs, sometimes we're 100% completing games, and sometimes we're just doing random shenanigans. So if you're an EPIC gamer like me, check out my content!
oh sure, you Speed-Runners and Glitch-Hunters think youre so cool, making Sonic and Co. jump around and clip through walls and get to OutOfBound places you shouldnt be...meanwhile, i spent MY childhood playing this game, learning to adapt to its jank, to the point where i had smooth n seamless runs through every level...it actually looked like a Normal game! ...now, which feat is REALLY the more difficult one? :-P
Im not a speed runner. And even if I was, all speed runners start off exactly like you described. Playing the game 100 times, learning its quirks, etc. Then they try speed running for a new challenge. I like going for score runs too, little kid me who couldn't even 100% the game would be so proud of where I now lol
@@EpicDuskk sorry, you mightve taken my joke a bit too seriously...i have all kinds of respect for the people that can break these games, i was just sayin like "this game's Already broken, so i try to make it look Fixed"... ...i guess itd be funnier if we were talking about Sonic 06 ("sure, you can watch the credits in 30 minutes, but i can make it look like SEGA actually cared") but in all seriousness, like you said, a Smooth run is just the first step to a Fast run...i know that the "speedrunners/glitch-hunters" are leagues above 'my level', but sometimes i like to Punch Up lol

10:20 You just need more grounded speed and a jump. Try a spin dash followed by a jump with no homing attack. It will transfer your upwards and forwards momentum to the rail.
what is utterly bizarre about mechless tails when I experimented with him is that he is faster going up the stairs in the chao lobby than on flat road, his acceleration and speed values are just odd.
Mfw epic gamer is such a simp for rouge he uses rouges music and doesn't mention it😂 next you should try and win enough meals for 2 people. Sodor needs food too
Its good background music honestly. Sodor isnt as crazy about D&B as me. I spent literally all day here, I think shed get burnt out lol. I brought her home food though so she got a treat too
10:16 I vaguely remember doing roll-flips as you're approaching the rail so the upward momentum takes you up the rail, on gamecube. Like, the tap-B-then-press-A flips. This is a distant memory, now, and I could misremember it.
i grew up in the philippines where the coin pusher uses their 1 peso coin equal to $0.056 so i absolutely loved it and it was relatively cheap to binge lol. i was shocked to see how expensive it is to play in america
It was fun to do for a video. And I do really like that you can redeem tickets for food. I dont think i'd do a whole 3 course meal again though. I was there all day long lol. And their app usually has good food deals anyway. Im banking my tickets for a big prize like a PS5 or something.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to experiment with some new content. I'd like to do more IRL stuff like this down the line if I can figure out how to record in public and make it not sound like crappy phone quality.
For 10:15, I've always found that it's easy(ish) to get up that rail if you have a really good running start, then homing attack into it. While not always easy, that guaranteed the most success when I was trying for A rank. Sometimes the best way to get a lot of speed before getting there is a spin dash, but always homing attack into it. However, you need enough space to do it. If you homing attack too close to the rail, you loose your momentum, too far and... yeah, same thing
Oh, right, I forgot! All 6 characters can ride the carts in Twinkle Park because there is a cart-racing minigame that all characters have access to. The other door in the overworld leads there. The three characters who don't play that level can find a key to unlock the Twinkle Park in the overworld to access the Twinkle Circuit. Also, sorry, I've been rewatching a lot of your stuff lately before bed to wind down lol. You have a nice calm voice in the pre-recorded stuff, but a lot of energy when you're streaming live. It's really nice hearing you laugh so much to be honest! You clearly enjoy yourself a lot
I've learned that since this video, I never knew that before I started making content though! Im glad my videos help you wind down! I know my streams and videos are completely different energies lmao. Alot of people who come to streams from videos are surprised.
From what I remember (pre-watch), 2 Chao (Iron Gate, Egg Quarters) outright force you to get it, and 2 are only doable on original Dreamcast version (Meteor Herd, Mad Space). 5:38 There is a MUCH easier way to do this, if you rotate the camera, move to the right wall at the start, and just run towards and glide into the sign at the right angle, you can clip through the wall and the Lost Chao corridor is located practically straight ahead. Post watch: So they finally figured out setups for Egg Quarters and Iron Gate, eh? Good to know.
I know it'd make for a more bleak video, but the swap mod makes the game behave in ways that it wouldn't normally, and somewhat invalidates any of this- When a stage loads in vanilla, every character has a setlist of objects unique to them. There are many cases where levels characters are not meant to be in are devoid of objects or act transitions making the levels unplayable or incompletable. Ironically this means your little Hot Shelter issue wouldn't be an issue (it would have no doors), but it would still be non-completable.
So whats happening is that because Sonic is meant to bounce on the the green things and the Egg Viper, Gamma for some reason stays locked onto those things and continuosly shoots them which you can notice because his reticle is permanenantly on them so he pretty much is stuck in some sort of infinite jumping loop.
