This is an American Eagle Canoe 16 ft square back with a Mercury 3.5 HP 4 stroke pushing me down the Withlacoochee. Not exactly planing out but getting close.
I love it. At idle its no louder than a sewing machine. 1 gallon of gas takes a couple of days to use up. Only time it let me down I replaced the spark plug and that was it. I only use ethanol free rec90 gas and run it out each time with a fresh water flush. Choke can be tricky but you get to know it.
