The original plan was to run this via the "Duck Pond" eddy as described in Marc Hunt's excellent video, "Tips for Rowing the Big Rapids in the Grand Canyon":

. . . but at this flow (~20K, double what's shown in that video), that eddy was effectively gone. That left us with the choice of taking on the "The Land of the Giants" head-on (i.e running right), or improvising. Most of the sneaks we ran on this trip were awful in terms of quality; nothing better than a way to get things done. This one, however, was the exception: not half bad. That said, I would wager it to be a horrible option with lower water.
