Canoeing Upset Rapid (mile 150.2), Grand Canyon, June 2023. 

This is a case where the more challenging line down the wall is entirely optional. We opted for the safe and easy way. Flow was approximately 20,000 cfs. The blue canoe is a Silverbirch Covert 10.5; the red canoe is an Esquif Extasy.
