Lots of people are getting a Canon 4000D and then asking me how to use it for photography so that’s what we are talking about today (: Hopefully those of you that asked for a comprehensive guide will be able to try out some of the ideas we discuss in this video today (:
thanks for this review! Ive been hunting for a new camera. I'm a rather intermediate photographer/ videographer - you can see what I've been up to here on my RU-vid channel as well as searching 'RedCatHabitat' on Instagram. I've currently got a old Olympus sp-565uz and a canon vixia hf800. Odd combo right? the Olympus was a hand me down and the canon was an upgrade from my phone for video. I'd like to replace them with something I can use for both purposes. I came across the 4000D while looking for a budget friendly ( ~
@joshfern9178 I did the same ...incase I get lost again ...this tutorial is very helpful and I've learned so much about cameras ...I'm might not even have to study photography 😆😆😆
I'm assuming this doesn't do video. can you recommend one that does with the same kind of quality as this, I have £200 or so to spend which is what this camera is worth now 2nd hand
Thank you! I'm a photography student, and you explained things that have not been explained in my classes, and clarified things that were confusing in my classes! Great video! Thanks again!
I'm so glad I googled how to take zoomed in images on the canon eos 4000d to come across this video. This video has explained a lot about my camera so that deserves a subscribe
Thank you so much for this sir. This is my first camera and I was just starting to learn photography 😊😊 It was such a big help for me knowing the different setting of my camera and it's capability
This was great for general camera tips. I bought the 4000 but then moved on to the 250D. The explanation of light will help my decision making regardless of the camera I'm using. Thanks 👍🏾
Thank you, thank you and once again thank you! Just received my camera and going to unpack it soon, will come back to this video while testing it :) I can see your little daughter also likes to help you with making your videos 😊
Great stuff my dude. I need this kind of vid as a reminder of stuff I’ve forgotten! Heh, got my first camera 50 yrs ago. Fully manual Yashica FX3. Since then on and off with a camera now and then. Now I’m 68 and just got a used one of these. It’s gonna be fun! I love RAW!!! 🦁
My girlfriend got me one of these because I've always wanted to get into photography but I've always been limited to phone cameras by finances. Thank you for the walk through I appreciate your knowledge
Dude, this video is amazing. I just ordered the 4000D, as I finally get around to the photography hobby I always wanted to start. As an avid gamer, I need to get out more, and you just helped me out immensely. Thanks so much.
@@KaiCreative My 4000D has been dispatched and I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. Thanks to you I know how to get setup quickly and get out there to shoot. Thanks again. I have subbed and will be coming back. I also love Photoshopping, so that's an added bonus from your amazing channel too.
Hitting subscribe button immediately! You have the most deserved subscribe button historically, Kai! :) I love to take pictures, however, in the last two years that I have Canon 4000D, l could not have learnt how to use it at all! Your video is a treasure! Thank you millions
Thanks for the support 👍 4000D video guide also here: Canon 4000D Video Guide | 2021 | KaiCreative ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PJkXDYZ3djs.html
Brilliant video ! And it's incredible how much you can achieve with such a basic DSLR. In true terms it really isn't "basic" it's just modern technology in an affordable package I guess. I can see why many people would never need anything more than the 4000D and take great photos for years and years ! ATB MMMD
this was the best video to explain the key points of how this camera works. thanks so much. would you have any recommendations on the ideal settings for portrait shots? i want to practice those next after landscapes
You know what would really be great for beginners like me? Maybe if you or some of your pro friends make a video showing what this camera with a kit lens could achieve (psychological boost) 😁 😅
Thank you for you guide video that is just what I was looking for it is brilliant thank you ,I get my new cannon on Saturday will definitely keep you posted thank you Your guide video is absolutely brilliant 👌
Nice review! Really thinking about getting this camera. Can I still get that shallow depth of field or blurred background look with the lens that it comes with?
Wow I needed this thank you ..got my 4000d 3 months ago and I had no clue how to use it ...obviously not the way u explained lol so all my photos was mostly blurry or too bright 😂😂😂😂...
Great video bro. I tend to find if you underexpose you can generally use editing in post to help brighten the image with other slight adjustments without affecting the quality too much. However, when an image is overexposed it's a lot harder.
Thanks my brotha 👌 totally agree - underexposed always better - just got to remember to add that light back in 😄😅 something I’m guilty of not always doing 😅😅
Thank you for the guide. I have a mirrorless, but it was limiting in what I can do unless I am travelling, and the camera before that was eons ago with a SLR, which does not have all the options/gadgetry. This is a good refresher with how to control the different functions. BTW, adorable model you used.
BEST TUTORIAL EVER. Thank you so much for making it so understandable. My 4000D is OLD...but my lens is good and now I need to buy two more batteries (been a while since I've used it), but now I have a new reason to learn more. I can't afford to buy a new one, but learning why I just did, will help me take much better photos. Again thank you. If you have a minute, I must send my INTERIOR photos to Sotheby's in 1800x1200 pixels no bigger than 5 mg. Can you tell me how I would set that on this camera? Cheers my friend, Linda
Excellent guide man! Your timing is actually perfect because a friend of mine is literally buying a 4000D this week so will pass this on to him for sure!
That is awesome bro 😎 I know a lot of people have bought this camera based off my previous videos and then not entirely sure how to use it 😬 hopefully now this video will help guide some newer 4000D photographers (:
Your voice reminds me of the narrator on Animal planet and how they mate 😂 lol Anyways I loved this video very well explained. Will def be trying the t100 after this
Hey 👋 The others are jpegs and they already have effects baked in depending on the picture style you choose (standard, neutral etc..) many people just shoot jpeg as they are happy with the look from the camera - also these settings use a lot less memory - so you can take more photos on your SD card before the memory runs out. My suggestion play around with the picture settings and see if you like them. But RAW is the way to go if you want the freedom and flexibility to edit later 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Kai, Thanks for the videos I have purchased this camera based upon watching your videos... I bought the camera for visiting the Grand Prix next week, what kind of settings would you recommend to be able to get good action shots when the vehicles are going at speed??
Excellent video👍 Very easy to follow. I am looking to buy my very first DSLR, and I am torn between the 4000D or the Nikon D3500. As a beginner, the price point of the 4000D may just sway my decision.
Hi Fabian, its a great video, and thanks a lot for that. I do need to ask you however, even in your studio shots where you speak to the camera, there is some sort of a grey color shade, which is very subtle but I still can notice. The way I would describe that is like if I'm seeing you through a slight think blanket of mist or smoke. Sorry if that description does not make sense. Do you get what I mean? Can you tell me how to get rid of that grayish subtle effect and if there is a way to make the video more sharp and crisp? is it the lighting? or camera equipment?
Hello, subscribed! Do you have any recommendation of settings for landscapes such as coastal or beaches? Cities? Also, night or evening pictures? Such as sunset or the moon? Thank you sooooo much! Great video tutorial!
Thank you very much Kai, I am recently retired and was looking for a camera for hobby shooting. This was so helpful. I have one question. I know that the camera has a USB port. Was wondering if I could connect a USB to 1.5 Jack and then connect a remote shutter? Thank you again for you're great advice.
Okay, got to know that i absolutely suck at Photography. I just dont understand what the settings do. I understand ISO, but i dont understand how to use everything together. I got the EOS4KD too, i was able to get really good shots of the Moon in Manual Mode. But anything in daylight, i cant photograph. But at least, im now know if i understand a camera, i can get great shots even with my eos4kd
Hi Kai, I loved your video and found it very helpful, I am planning on buying the Canon 4000d and I see that you use the canon 50 mm f/1.4 lens. Is it fully compatible or do I have to buy an additional mount? Thanks for your help
I just got to place where i wanted control over the Shutter and Aperture . Which the phones can almost do that now LOL. I love my Cheap Canon. I am No Pro.
Please please share the settings for product photography using Canon 4000D. I've been struggling a lot, but so far unsuccessful to get the high-resolution photos.
Thanks for all the technical information. With this model we can achieve multiple double exposure? Where we can find the settings in the device? Merry Christmas!
Just purchased this camera with an 18-105mm lens however need a stronger one? Where do I start, what is even compatible with mu camera without breaking the bank?
I have a canon rebel t3 and I just started loving photography and i was thinking of upgrading im a big landscape and hockey photography kinda guy do you think this would be a good choice?
