Hi. Just found this video as a friend has this camera and i wanted to see how it performs. The Flash setting controls the exposure compensation that the camera makes. Basically how much the camera darkens or brightens the image to make up for the flash being too bright. Great video and very informative to anyone new to this camera. Also please dont reply to this as it breaks youtube.

Do you know how to crop a photo once it’s taken?
@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner Месяц назад
I know of a couple ways My first one, is to take out the SD card and put it into a laptop or chromebook. Click on your photo and click the little pencil icon. Grab the sides of the photo to crop My second way is to connect your SD card to a USB SD, you can get them on Amazon I'm pretty sure. And they come with a way to plug in that USB with that SD card, into your phone so you can view, move and crop your photos without a laptop. Just make sure the USB has that plug in, and the right kind (Apple, Android) I really hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

How do you find the setting where you could look at the pictures on the camera?
@TheCrypticMiner

On the top of the camera when you turn the nob left to turn the camera on, turn it to the right and it will open your camera SD card gallery to look at any photos and videos

@TheCrypticMiner

I'm not sure if there is a factory reset option. Try these options: Swap batteries Take out SD card and batteries and remove dust from inside those slots If that doesn't work, I will look into a factory reset for you

@@TheCrypticMiner nono, not an editor. Just something to connect my camera to pc with a wire and access the live feed there
@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner 6 месяцев назад
@@Lego_Life I have the perfect solution. I have a white cable that plugs into the side of this camera, it's called a data interface cable. You plug this into this camera, and then into your PC. You can then move your photos to your PC and view them on your PC as well

@@Lego_Life I can recommend a micro HDMI cable. If you plug that into your camera and then to your PC, you can see your video or photo presented on your PC, live. Hope this helps

Why is my energizer battery doesn't working in my canon s5 is
@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner 5 месяцев назад
One possible reason is that they are in wrong. Double check and if they are in right, they might be dead. If you have rechargables, they may need to be charged

When it says “change the batteries” but you’ve already changed them what do you do ? My camera does the same thing
@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner Год назад
For me, it means that the batteries that have been put in the camera are dead. If you are putting in brand new, fully charged batteries and it's telling you they are dead. There might be something wrong with the camera
@taksheelsagar9108
@taksheelsagar9108 Год назад
behind the AA batteries, there is a small compartment of a CR 1220 round battery, you have to change that

@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner Год назад
I use energizer rechargeable batteries. They've been working pretty well and they last for quite a long time in the camera. Hope that helps you out. They usually last me from around 3-4 hours or more depending on how long you charge them for

Can you make the quality better
@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner Год назад
The quality of the camera can go up to 720p and 60fps. And 1080p at 30fps. You'll find these options in the functions menu by pressing the function button. The quality is the second last option to the left. Hope this helps
@brigganthewolf1461
@brigganthewolf1461 3 месяца назад
@@TheCrypticMinerFor video no. It only shoots up to VGA at 30fps (most cameras did at the time of release of this model). If you wanted HD, you either had to step up to the PowerShot TX1, or go all-out and buy an HDV Tape camcorder. Point & shoots were not available with HD video until the following year.

@fuzzmtb2834

do you have discord, maybe we can chat about this camera
@TheCrypticMiner
@TheCrypticMiner 2 года назад
There are two types of SD cards I use for this camera. One is the Lexar 4GB SD card. That SD card I recommend using only when doing photography with this camera. Because you will only get about 1 or 2 minutes of recording time untill it stops and you will have to hit record again. It's also good for holding your photos. And the other one I use which I bought 5 of because of how much I like them. The SanDisk Ultra 90 MB/s. There grate SD cards and hold a bunch of footage. Note that this camera will only take up to 4GBs. Anything higher will not be recognized from the camera in my experience. I hope this helped you out and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Have a good day 🙂
