Hey TJ! I was really considering getting this one,or getting the 7 inch version, so it'd be really helpful to know how you feel about this smaller size of monitors. Is it enough for you to rack focus easily and consistently? The teeny tiny one on the back of my camera was never enough for me, and I think the 7 inch ones might be a bit too large for me, but having a small monitor that can't really help you get focus easily isn't any better than having no monitor at all. Could you please answer this question of me it'd help me out a ton. Thanks!
Hey TJ, can I use this screen to shoot videos of myself? Like, can the screen flip to the other side such that I can see it and also be the subject in front of the camera lens?

I am trying to connect my Canon 750d dslr camera to the Freeworld 5.5 field monitor with HDMI. But I don't get Audio Meters signal (I get only video signal) Please advise
Hi, I have s canon rebel t5 where the screen does not flip out. Can i use this as a confidence monitor? Will the monitor flip towards me if I'm filming alone?
got a question about using the external monitor on the DSLR/Mirrorless camera setup (either, won't really matter) - the monitor gives you a lot of information about what the camera is seeing, but gives no control over what the camera is DOING, ie. if you wanted to shift your focus point while taking a photo, you'd have to disconnect the monitor and do it manually on the VF. I'm not sure if it does this by mode (photo, video, auto, etc.) but I can't find anything in the settings to adjust this, not even the HDMI output which should, in theory, let me adjust everything I see on the VF on the monitor as well. I can still adjust menu items on the camera and see that on the monitor, but I have no TOUCH CONTROL on the monitor. let me know your thoughts.
Yea so there would be no touch control or focus control on the monitor. I may could help more by knowing what camera you are using. But most cameras allow at least two options with the hdmi output. Which are basically send all information to the monitor OR only send video feed to the monitor. In this case the camera being used is the 70d (with further research after filming this video I found that it has an option to disable/enable “Ctrl over HDMI”. This should allow you to at least see what your settings/focus/ etc are on the monitor and adjust them using the physical buttons available on the camera. Hope that helps.
yo tj i just bought the cannon eos r5 do u think this type of set up will work on one of those camera too. im try to get the camera to film longer in 4k with out before heating
Hello TJ, do you know if the the monitor displays full screen with the 70D? I just received the Feelworld FW568 and it doesn't so I am looking for a monitor that can display full screen with the 70D.
I have just spent a fortune on new gear and overlooked this lack of being able to output to HDMI and still use the touch screen. On the canon R and up you can, but not on the 90d... Feeling very devastated atm.
Hi CH, what cable are you using to connect the Feelword to the Canon as the cable that came with my Feelworld monitor is HDMI to HDMI MICRO and my Canon 90D has a HDMI MINI port. Very annoying... Just had to order connectors from Amazon.
I can’t remember if that chord came with the monitor or not but sometimes different batches of products come with different included items. I know I wanted a coiled cable. I just purchase mine from Amazon as well. If you need good cables “Alvins cables” on Amazon are very reliable.
I’m having issues with my monitor, nothing is showing on my feel world monitor when my camera is on. I’m using a hdmi to mini hdmi. I also have canon Rebel T6i.
I bought the monitor for my Canon 90D, but it turned out that when you connect it to camera it shuts off the camera monitor. It fine when you want to film with manual focus, but when you want to rely on autofocus (and i.e. tracking), you loose this ability. This makes it useless for me, as I do use autofocus while filming. I did use the function where I switched HDMI output to "clean" to have both monitors on, but then I couldn't make camera to start recording. For me it is 90D problem, and it's total rubish.
@@marianorulet8819 No. I've returned the monitor. I've researched some websites and it turned out you cannot "split" signal to two separate monitors (camera monitor and external monitor). It has to be one or the other.
I have the cannon t5 and feel world pro. Keep saying no signal even after connect hemi adapter cord for HDMI. I'm connected to HDMI out of cam to monitor in. What am I missing.
