Thank you for watching this video. Dynamic range is great when you shoot in raw in photography and in films in canon log 3, it gives you approx 14 stops of dynamic range which is great.
When viewed directly, as there isn’t much difference between video quality of both cameras as r3 is 6K and other is 5.5K. In fact, those recording formats are meant to be either to achieve higher quality oversampled 4K video, or cropped for creative purposes in 4K video production. Of course, the higher 6K resolution on the EOS R3 means additional flexibility for cropping, but not as much as you might think. Also there is a slight difference in the colouring depth but not major.
