Hey Ollie! Nice video and colors! I was filming a club the other day and Had color artefacts in my shots, especially with green light. Is it because I am exposing it wrong? Hope you can help, cheers!
@@OllieTylerFilms That gives me hope lol, I'min a few can r groups where some members had their sensors broken because of lasers. I know it's quite an expensive repair. I'm deciding on getting either the R5 or R6 in a few months. Though MASSIVELY different in price, I'm still finding it hard to decide.
Awesome vid! I'm a nightlife photographer from belgium...and the only thing that keeps me from bying the R6 over my 5d Mark IV's is the following: The sensor of the R6 is always exposed to light. What happens when a nightclub or festival laser accidently hits the sensor? My A7 III had a fried sensor after 2 weeks of use...so honestly: this scares me alot. My 5d's also had damage. but that was because my timing wasn't right when taking photos of a lasershow...so my own fault. But the R6/R5/R3 don't have a mirror to protect the sensor...so long story short: did you have any problems with the sensor and laser damage?
As far as photography goes, I believe that on the R6 and the R5 you can choose mechanical shutter in the settings. That should ensure that the sensor is covered until you choose to take the picture. I have the R6, but I haven't messed with that setting yet.
Hi how are you? Very good video! Query: What processor and video card do you work with to edit 4k, I use daVinci and it's having a hard time with the Canon R6 files, greetings, good luck!
