Canon EOS R7 and EOS R10 - Which is for You? 

What would be huge for your costumers would be open up to 3rd party lenses

i'm using my R10 as a professional camera for portrait, replacing my Nikon d5600. and i must say, i have zero regrets, its just for the price so good! and the photos are epic! at the moment use the 50mm 1.8 and saving up for more lenses. Great video!

The R10 is a fantastic camera. But please Canon consider opening the RF mount to third party lens manufacturers. We need more options!

My channel has a lot of videos on the R7 and the control dial and the 18-150 lens is the best bargain in the industry. Having shot Canon for 35 plus years now Rudy you my friend are like family to us.

Why Canon didn't put a simple spring in this little gem R10's battery lid?

Please ask me a question: does this camera have a very aggressive rolling shutter, recording in 4K and full HD? I watch a lot of videos here on RU-vid saying that the rolling shutter is very accentuated and that video recording is of poor quality both in full HD and 4K. And the body material of this camera is plastic, which breaks easily. Please, could you tell me why I would like to buy this camera?

Hi. I have looked and looked for the best quality Canon camera that suits my use and cannot find a video that answers my questions. I preserve, restore, document and catalog historical documents, old movie posters, photos, correspondence. Some clients want to reproduce the document to exacting standards. I prefer full frame, probably mirrorless, and a high megapixel sensor. I also am going to copy old negatives. Please help me find the camera and lens for my needs. The names of the different models are confusing and don’t reflect the features of the camera quality. Most sincerely, Geno Munari

I have an r7 and use it for livestream video via HDMI into a switcher. My issue is that despite have all the auto-standby and shutdown settings turned off, the camera goes to sleep after 30 mins. How can I stop this so I can use this camera to livestream a sports game?

Any chance for an EOS RP successor? Compact size with full frame sensor, improved AF and sensor from RP.

When are you guys launching the r7c? Is this coming because I'm about to pull the trigger on a Sony fx3...... love canon but the fx3 looks stellar and the price.....

I have at least 2 problems , so far, with the R7 with 100-500. I shot a tennis match mid-day and the photos look beautiful, but there is noise in the faces? I dont understand it. Also, when editing the R7 photos, it is different than the R6 in that the preset crop I need to use for my job appears smaller now on the photo and it cuts off too much of the player? I now shoot looser to utilize my crop. I am not sure why this happens? The R7 uses much more battery and normally I use 1 battery per event and the R7 requires 2.

Which one is better in low light high iso?

I love these videos. Like others below, though, I find it hard to imagine two such likeable, good-natured guys being okay with the lack of good quality, affordable RF lenses out there. It's almost ironic hearing them mention the 'vastness of the array' twice here. Especially ironic, I think, since these two cameras are about exactly the opposite: versatility and amazing performance at a very affordable price.

I considered the canon eos R7 as my next apsc camera. However your decision to block any third party lens makers for the RF mount has left me no choice but to abandon canon and instead invest in the sony and nikon ecosystem. I hope you will reverse your decision on blocking the Rf mount from third party companies in the near future, as it will only end up hurting potential camera sales for your company. I and many others have already abandoned your eos r ecosystem due to the blocking of third party lenses. I’ve been a longtime user of your canon eos dslr system for many years, but your decision to block RF third party lenses is quite disappointing and i will no longer invest in a ecosystem where lens selection will be limited for consumers by any company. We now live in an age in which consumers are strongly looking for diversity in lens selection before considering any camera ecosystem. I hope your company as a whole will come to understand this and reverse your decision to block third party lenses in the future. Until then, I can’t in good conscience invest in your canon mirrorless RF ecosystem.

Now we only need some good RF-S lenses.
