I have a microphone but I record sound on a completely different camera. I use the Sony Z-1U with a sennheiser mike because I have the inputs and output for that particular camera. I would like to get one for the Canon though.

craig vinson , I always shoot video on manual due to the fact that I want to control the entire frame. Is there anything in particular you looking for? Setting wise?
craig vinson Well, like I said, I filmed everything in the manual setting. The ISO was set tot he lowest setting possible and the F stop was set to the correct amount of light. However, I used my color correction tools to make the images more crisp and eye-popping.
