I can imagine Sora throwing in the keyblade first, it's burning energy wakes Mario so he is able to grab it and open the keyhole for Sora to come through. It's as if Sora gave Mario (the first fighter) the honor of bringing him (the last fighter) to the world of Smash Ultimate.
Nah, he's not Yoko Taro. Taro is the one who would make Smash part of his series' canon lore if there was any crossover with it (and would find a way to cram some significant previously unknown lore detail into the stage). Nomura makes every KH spinoff major to the lore, but he stops short of making it tie in directly with other series' canons. Taro doesnt stop there with his series (the FFXIV crossover is canon to Drakengard/Nier for instance and has some new lore tidbits)
The man has a problem with wanting everything Kingdom Hearts touches to be canon. Although Smash would make sense and I rationalized it as his heart going through training as his younger self to build himself back up
Oh my god oh my fuck AAAAA Everyone is joking about these kinds of things but I just remembered HOW NOMURA MAKES EVERY PIECE OF KINGDOM HEARTS CONTENT CANON. Every single """spin off""" title including the damn MOBILE/WEB GAMES is canon and important to the lore. So that means Sora being in Smash is 1000% canon.
ever since the ending of KH3 and RE:Mind dlc i've been saying that kingdom hearts will continue with Video game worlds from Square enix instead of disney franchises. sora being in smash makes me feel like my theory is slowly becoming reality!!
@@bigberto707 he never deages though, entirely different than the typically slight alterations on diff worlds. Though some change him a bit more like Atlantica monsters, inc. most are simple costume swaps.
Nah, he just went to sleep. However in KH3 he actually "disappears" most likely to join Cloud and Sephiroth in their vacations before returning somehow because this is a Kingdom Hearts game you silly billy, no one can die here.
@@megnugget2631 Sora is in a fictional world depicting shibuya post KH3. it makes more sense that smash was one of the worlds he visited while they were trying to fix his memories in CoM since he forgets the events of it.
Kingdom Hearts SPOILERS Well at the end of Melody of Memory it is discovered that Sora is in a world of "fiction" known as Quadratum after the sacrifice he makes to restore Kairi's heart. So being temporarily displaced in the world of Smash Bros. tracks and doesn't break the canon. It can fit if Tetsuya Nomura wants it to.
The saga is done, but not necessarily the game. Just the end of Sora's story, so we're still likely to get KH games in the future. Maybe not any time soon, but we still will.
@@DiZphunx it still is Sora's story, just not the xehanort saga. Judging by the KH3 credits scene we see riku and sora in shibuya, probably will be like CoM and DDD where you play as both.
Him being a kid isn't too much of an issue when you realize: -he changes looks every other world he goes to -has a clone of his kid form made from text from a journal -and time travels like there's no tomorrow. If you wanted to look at smash bros as it's own "world" it would be pretty far from normal. All the characters are usually in their most iconic form so why should sora be any different?
To the people who are like "But how can he come from KH3 when in smash he's KH1 sora?" Remember these 3 things: 1.) Ike has both his younger form and his older form in the Smash world, so its completely plausible for Sora to have his younger form in this alternate dimension. 2.) Sora not only has his KH1 outfit, but he also has his KH2 and KH3 outfits which means that him going to Smash did in fact happen after the events of KH3. 3.) The Smash universe is an alternate Dimension where all kinds of Magic and Phenomenon can and Do exist. Its within the realm of possibility that he can Deage upon going there. Just look at Solid Snakes design. P.S. I know that Smash isn't actually Canon. But it's fun to imagine how him going to Smash after KH3 could happen. Just keep all of this in mind.
Now we just need a wardrobe retcon explanation of Sora reverting back to his old look, like when they had to provide a reson for Mickey being shirtless
That's not that hard considering dream drop distance. Supposing Smash is inside Unreality, being a complete different Dimension outside of the Realms of KH's Reality, it perfectly allows for some whatever reason of cleaning his Self image and resetting himself to look, probably, to how he feels inside, instead of his real appearance, thanks to travelling through the Sleeping Realm and Final World (death). Idk.
After beating Yosora Sora was required to save Super Smash U. And he visits his beloved Kairi and his friends from time to time. That last scene was when he said goodbye to her because he has to return to the new world.
@@Krypto1201 I thought it was because Pyra and Mythra are both attractive big booba anime girls, and Sora is at least a pre-teen kid. But your explanation works better. XD
Mickey Mouse: I wanted to tell you right away... about memories from the past that sleep within you. And about the pieces that will tie you to your future. sora you are who you are because of those people but they're hurting and you're the only one who can end their sadness. They need you it's possible that all your journey so far have been preparing you for this great new task that's waiting for you I should have known there were no coincidences, only links in a much larger chain of events. And now the door to your next journey is ready to be opened.
This is the reason why fiction is so fun. There is no real wrong answer to why he is young in smash. Some people say it is a Data-Sora while in my mind and some other people it is a worldly transformation to make him younger. If you think it's canon in your mind it is canon for you.
Sakurai Rolled up to Kairi and said. Hey your not gonna be in any of the levels, oh yeah your a 1 star spirit and There's no portrate of you in the Station of awakening. Kairi: 0:43
ppl im in my workspace right now (a covid center) and there is a colleague singing for another colleague kkkkkkk she is singing Amar não é pecado, from Luan Santana
Not gonna lie. Sora and the kingdom hearts games are SO “final fantasy”, I wouldn’t be surprised that Sora’s destiny is to just travel worlds and help out other popular characters. And I mean final fantasy in the sense that every time you start one of their games, you know that NOTHING will ever be the same for those characters.
