I’ve literally had my M50 mark 2 for 6 months and still haven’t really used it this video is great for me, still learning how to use it the proper way - usually would just record on my iPhone thanks man appreciate this video.. subscribed!!!
I have the subscribers I deserve...I don’t put enough work, but that might change. Anyway, thank you, for the kind words, because every comment like this, makes me want to do more.
I am surprised that Thomas has not so many subscribers. I found his videos well prepared, his style is very comfortable for listeners. I have experience in photography but basically new in video and want to use my new M50 Mark II to create content and videos. I subscribed. Good job
what would you set differently if you were filming high school football training sessions focusing on 1 or 2 kids at a time (not an entire team at once)?
Heya ya Thomas 😊! SO I'm using m50 mk2 with tamron 24-70 f2.8 g2 which have already the stabilisation, you think I should turn the is off from the camera? Thank you
I just got the M50 Mii, and I’ve been tweaking the settings for the past few days. All of a sudden, every time I record it automatically switches to slow-motion and I have to go back in to switch back to normal speed. Can you tell me how to stop this from happening?

Hi! Is there any possibility to actually keep the "thirds" grid visible on touchscreen of Canon M50 while shooting video? Because it appears only in pre-shooting mode. Thank you.
That’s…pretty vague. It all depends on what you want the final image to be. And what’s the location? What’s the lighting? I’d say a 24mm. On APS-C cameras, it’s a 35mm équivalent. It’s good for kind of portrait shot without being too tight, setting your subject in the environment. And the canon 24mm 2.8 with a regular adapter is super cheap. Or the Viltrox 23mm 1.4 if you want to get more background blur.
Or maybe read the manual? It’s in your settings. It’s not too difficult to find. Or Google it. Like I just did for you, took me 3 seconds. capturingguide.com/how-to-get-24-fps-on-a-canon-m50-guide/
