I thought you'd solved my problem here, but my New F-1 seems to have multiple problems; both the one mentioned in this video, and the slow exposure times aren't working at all. They seem to be doing something like 1/125 all down to Bulb (which works, but with a release delay) The 4 seconds exposure setting also initiated the self-timer! Guess there's not much hope?

I THINK THAT IS MY ISSUE, THE DIFFERENCE WITH MINE IS THAT IT DOESN'T FIRE AT ALL WHEN I PUT THE BATTERY IN... I WILL GIVE IT A TRY , THANK YOU SO MUCH

Fantastic!! Quick confirmation of problem by pressing battery check button and then the switch contact! In my case the spring leg of the switch was floating above the track, then very minor persuasion was enough to put it back and the camera came back to life after years waiting!! Thanks so much!!!

Hi Luka, do you know the reason why the electric shutter is not working properly like 1/4->8s, 4s -> 1/2000 etc. However, it works fine in A mode. Thank you!
