I hope you will not get dissapointed as me .. also thought will print it and print it but only 1000 pages hey what a marketing lies from canon! also prepare money for new inks they all go in about year of normal using! I payed 20$ for black only.

I just got this printer and I wish I would've seen this review before, still I was able to figure out the problem, you have to use the "my printer" software that comes with the installation cd, also I discovered, for some odd reason, if you don't use "my printer" software the machine will use up massive amounts of ink and the results are pale and washed out photos with faded lines, it's really weird. Canon should do better than this

4:43 Those are horizontal lines. When printing photos with this printer, set the quality to the highest setting to get rid of those lines.

@@bharathsanju3260 Like what I said, set it to the highest quality before printing. However, this isn't always the best solution for printing on normal paper as it will soak the paper with ink, and this is frustrating when printing text with graphics on it. When looking at reviewers on youtube, they seem to print their stuff fine so it could be a defective set of printheads? I haven't changed my printheads yet so I can't tell if that is the case.

Your first prints were faded might be because you have choosen media type as "plain paper" in boderless printing for printing out the scanned "photo" . Please check settings while printing.

Bro. You gave a nice Presentation. But the test you did is not satisfactory. You should print in color from the image saved on your desktop and try giving it maximum dpi and show the result. Also I recommend you to print a vivid colorful photo on a glossy or semi glossy paper with maximum dpi both in color and black & white. YOU ARE JUST CHANGING A PRINTER'S FATE IN A SIMPLE VIDIO IN HURRY BURRY FASHION....Also in my experience. Not having or using wifi printing is a pros not cons... WIFI printing is a stupid concept(just my personal opinion)

It's just as simple as it is Mr.Fejadul. When you refill your ink. you might be knowing the set of papers you are using. so, list out all those, so that your result of counting the no.of.prints will get clear. or Make sure that how many bundles of paper you use till the cartridge get exhaust. Video uplader person don't know about it and all fake information provided by him and he has so much bad attitude. I have seen all functions of the printer in front of me and all were working best. Video uploader just trying to bluff public.
