Effortlessly set up your Canon PIXMA MG3520 printer to print on a wireless network from a Windows® computer. Visit the Canon website for more How-To Video tutorials. usa.canon.com/c...
I wish you had a tutorial on how to connect to the printer on a new network when you already have all the software installed. I had to replace my router and I don't want to go through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling everything. It would be helpful for people just moving house, too.
Hello, Hillary! We suggest checking out our other video on connecting your printer to a network via smartphone for a quick and seamless setup! If that doesn't help, find all of your personalized support options, including live support, within your My Canon Account at canon.us/account
To anyone having an issue with this, what worked for me was to connect it via WPS (or whatever the first option is) then I had to press the WPS/Wifi button on the back of my router 2 times. It connected after that
I have a new laptop and was gifted this MG3520 printer. I have never had an issue with connecting to other laptops simply by just using the USB port and my wireless Verizon Jetpack. I have contacted my Laptop community and was instructed to download the drivers and set up. I have visions that my computers "S" mode is preventing me to go further with opening the "setup". Could this be possible? I have toyed with deleting the safety feature. Inability to hook up a printer would be a definite reason to make it go away.
Hi, Janie! If you haven't already done so, please make sure you have administrator privileges on your computer. Without those, your ability to install new software or connect new devices may be limited. If problems persist, we recommend getting in touch with our team of PIXMA printer experts for guidance. Take a moment to register your PIXMA MG3520 first at canon.us/account and you'll get access to all of your support options including live chat and our toll-free number. Hope to help you soon!
@@CanonUSA Thank You so much for your suggestions! I have deleted the S mode and downloaded the setup. I still continued to have problems requiring a repeat in set up. I have tried again and am convinced that simple little sequence did the trick. I went in to the device manager and removed the printer, then turned on my printer and held down the WiFi button until it flashed, then plugged the printer to the computer and it suddenly recognized it!!! We changed both ink cartridges and we are back in business! Thanks Again!
@@CanonUSA hi whenever I plug my printer in, the power light comes on after I turn it on and the 4 x 6 photo paper green light is on. Other than that it will not do anything. If I hold down the Wi-Fi button I do not get an amber light. I have to power down by unplugging it because all the buttons are not responsive. Thank you

Hi there! It isn't absolutely necessary to use the CD. The drivers and software can be downloaded from our website at Canon.us/gnmkt We hope this helps!
@@CanonUSA I tried to do this but, i get this message. (failed to acquire information on the driver and software, check the network connection again.) now what do i do?
I keep receiving the Error message: the printer could not be detected on the network, this is very boring and time-consuming. why it cannot be simpler and faster? I could do many things in one hour instead!

Hi there! The model numbers in Europe are different from those here in the US. The PIXMA MG3520 is a US model, so you can definitely find it on our website at Canon.us/2z48 We hope this helps!
If you're referring to the region selection screen you see during the software installation, you do not have to select USA. You may select Europe if that is where you are located.
Being a US model only, you may indeed need to select USA as your region to get it set up. If you're still having trouble setting it up, we recommend reaching out to a member of Canon Support in your area by going to global.canon/en/support and selecting the appropriate region and country for support options. We hope this helps!
Hi there! Connecting to a secure network shouldn't be a problem. If you're unable to, our team of experts can point you in the right direction. To reach out to them, go to Canon.us/ContactYT We hope this helps!
I solved the problem. I wasn't able to connect my printer by using the driver CD (you have to enter your WIFI password to connect the printer and there was no option), so I downloaded the latest driver and set it up with that, it worked then.
worst product I ever bought, I held down the wifi button for over 5 min and the amber/warning light did not flash at all!! I turned off the printer and no change. This is extremely frustrating … smh
