Canon Pixma Pro 100 paper feed issue and how to fix this issue 

I bought a pixma pro 100 last year. I just encountered this issue today when I needed to print some nice pictures. New ink in it, all cleaned up and the damn paper keeps jamming. This fixed it. Thank you so much.

Brand new Pro-100 right out of the box. Paper would not feed from manual or rear feeders. I first went to the Canon site to look for help and found nothing. Spent about 2 hours searching. I found your video and did the roller clean procedure and it solved the problem. Spending so much money on equipment and having to go through this crap??? The Canon site is a joke. BTW, I first received a Pro-100....DOA. Thanks.

Roller cleaning is also on the MENU on the printer it self. And you have to choice to clean the REAR TRAY ROLLERS or the PAPER CASSETTE ROLLERS. GREAT VIDEO. MUCH THANKS! Reno, NV USA

OMG you have just saved my Saturday afternoon and getting very angry at myself. I havent used the printer in a few years and of course it was dirty. This helped me maintain sanity more than you know!

I don't cover my printer like I should so of course it gets a bit dusty. Also, I use my printer for everything and in doing so, I run a lot of just plain bond through it. Paper dust of course. Thank you for this, I tried roller cleaning 3 times but it didnt't work. I wanted to use 300gsm card but the rear feeder would not pick it up. By accident, I found that I also needed the lid in the middle of the machine (for the other paper feeder) also to be open when using the back feeder and now it prints every time! I was gifted my machine and have no manual so it may be in there that this needs to be open too.

My issue was on initial setup. OMG, this was the worst printer setup I have ever been through, and I have setup A LOT of printers over the decades. I will never have such a frustrating experience like this ever again. If I cant get it working in 15 minutes, its just going back in the box. It took me 4 hours to get the initial alignment done. What a nightmare! Maybe tomorrow I can get my first test print out of this. Lets see how day 2 goes.

I just got this printer and have never printed from it before. This did not work for me. I ran the roller cleaning and then it told me to put in 3 papers that it would eject but it never sent them out so I assume that means it is still broken.

great at printing colored pictures but it's horrible with the feeding. I tried all sorts even what you're showing, It's just defective. It needs better design for "paper feeding" it appears every time I try to use this expensive printer, it won't feed the paper.

That didn't work for me, as there appears to have been an issue with the inner roller and my paper was not picking up. I was forced to use my stiff, laminated ID card to clear the tracks and this worked.

Don’t waste your money on the canon pixma pro. It has the same issue on the second use ever. This is being returned tomorrow.
