Thank you, my brand new printer started paper jamming and when it would work it printed blurry and double. Cleaned it out and also cleaned the clear tape inside with alcohol as it looked smudged. Then hit reset button for 10 sec and all seems good. Funny thing the Cannon website said nothing about reset.

My Canon G2000 Printer gives a 2 blinking light problem. I have tried resetting the printer but I cannot go beyond that as the printer's carriage just bangs very hard left and right and stops. Then the blinking light comes on again. I have cleaned everything that needs cleaning up, I have also changed the ink absorber but the problem still persists. What else can I do besides dumping the printer as trash?

It'as a fatal error, probably a mechanical problem. You could check ir the cartridges are correctly installed

hello ,thanks for this lovely informative video . much appreciated. i have error support code 7800 ( see manual ).needs a repair or replacement . switch off & unplug the power cord . so frustrated. ink cartridges BLACK & COLORED 246 XL are new .CANON SAYS ITS OUT OF WARRANTY SINCE ITS 1YR 2 MONTHS OLD . It often means that there is a print head communication problem. Try to change the cartridges, clean the contacts inside the printer, turn off and on the printer but if nothing works the printer will require service.

@@viandant5 ours has the same issue even after service. they couldnt find the error during testing so they just sent it back but they did print test pages with it and it worked weirdly enough. maybe it is the cheaper off brand cartridges we are using that causes the problem

I experienced this 7800 code with my Pixma TR4550. Solution: put the printer into the rubbish bin and then bought a HP.

I just bought a PIXMA TS3522 because I heard it printed the best photo quality. and it was super cheap. I should've known there was a catch. So I go through the whole rigamarole of how other people REALLY want to get info on every single picture I ever print, and set up the printer just fine. Then I actually try to print...and get the 4103 error code. Took me at least half an hour to even figure out why and when I did I couldn't believe it. Who makes a printer that refuses to print letter sized glossy photo paper??? Canon does apparently. Only way to get around this is to change to plain paper, which causes the color to be faded and washed out looking. This is what is meant by "change the settings". There is no way I've found to get around this at all.

I was in the middle of setting up my new Pixma Pro-200 ink tanks when Support Code 520E popped up: "Turn the printer off and then on again". Already turned it off / unplugged several times but it keeps popping up when I turn it back on :( is it just a defective printer?

Canon says it'a fatal error, probably you have to repair tha machine. Check if you removed all packaging materials, remove and reinstall the ink cartridges

Grazie infinite per tutto quello che condivide sul suo canele, lei è un grande riparatore e Maestro delle stampanti ed è il mio unico punto di riferimento da anni ormai. Se possibile vorrei chiederle una cosa Maestro, in merito un codice di errore non menzionato ovvero il 6004, quest'ultimo presente su una Canon PIXMA TS5050, apparso dal nulla dopo aver completato una stampa. C'è la possibilità di poter capire a cosa si riferisce questo codice di errore? L'unica cosa che appare sul display è di annullare la stampa, spegnere e riaccendere, logicamente operazione effettuata, ma senza alcun risultato. Grazie anticipatamente.

Grazie per i complimenti! Dal manuale Canon risulta sia dovuto a un oggetto estraneo come un pezzetto di carta all'interno della stampante, oppure un sensore passaggio carta difettoso

Hello, thank you for this video. Is there anymore help for understanding error code E 5..? I just replaced the colour cartridge correctly, and checked it. Then cleaned points and reinstalled it. I have unplugged the printer too. Everything is looking fine. Paper feed is clear. What else can I do? I have a Cannon TS3465 model.

E05 means a problem with the ink cartridge, probably that cartridge is defective or not compatible with that printer.

Hiya, I have a pixma 4551 and an 7800 error - see the thing is I do not want to print anything - i just need to scan directly to my computer but now the whole thing is locked into the error - i was not able to reset it as instructed so I dont know what to do. Do you have any idea how to help?

It's an error often related to the ink cartridges. Changing the cartridge may solve the problem

The manual only says it's a fatal error, I can't help you. It could be due to main board or other internal broken parts

I have a pro 1000 with the same issue. It says the doors open when it's not. Is there a way of jamming paper on the right to make it think that it's not open. Or open it up and try and find that switch or whatever to see if it's stuck in some way?

Great video and obviously your inundated with questions lol. I have a pro 1000 with a door open error. I'm wondering if it can be opened up to see if the little switch is maybe not working? I don't know what the sensor actually is on these things though

It could be due to improper installation or defective ink cartridges. Clean and reinstall the ink cartridges, try to change them.

@@viandant5 The error code occurs after I changed the ink it says don’t match but I used canon ink. It prints fine before theres a message popped up that low ink that’s why I changed it.

Potrebbe esserci anche un problema di connessione della testina, tipo i connettori della testina difettosi o un altro problema di hardware, tipo una deformazione della struttura delle cartucce. Già provato a spegnere, staccare il cavo elettrico per qualche minuto?

I had the same 7800 error and what I did is I switched out the black and color cartridges. I had the original ones that came with the printer so I used those instead of the newer ones and the error went away. Hope this helps.

It could be related to the scan motor scan motor moving too fast. Check whether the optical switch is well connect, check the flat cable. Probably the printer will require to be disassembled

try to update or reinstall the printer driver. Are you sure that printer is the selected printer in the printer folder, with the right page format? Are all the cartridges working?

@@viandant5 It didn't give an error number just stated connection problem. But I stated above what it was. It made duplicate addresses for some reason so I just needed to set it to "copy 2" to match it up. Took hours of fiddling about but it works now thanks.

that error code is related to paper jamment in the auto document feeder. Check if there are any foreign objects stuck somewhere

Poi avrei un problema con un codice Errore 7700 su una stampante Canon Pixma TS705 che mi indica di portarla in assistenza. Ma, per il costo della stampante nuova non ci sarebbe convenienza, dato che mi chiederebbero una cifra vicino al costo del nuovo. C'è un modo per risolvere questo problema? Qual è il motivo per qui appare questo codice errore? Grazie

Il mio problema è che la mia stampante (canon mx495) si accende, appare con la scritta canon in alto, fa dei rumori strani e poi si chiude da sola per poi riaccendersi qualche secondo dopo per rifare la stessa cosa. Non mi fa neanche schiacciare altri tasti. Sapresti dirmi quale sia il problema? Grazie

Purtroppo senza vederla è difficile da dire. Potrebbe essere anche solo la cartuccia fuori posizione o un oggetto che blocca il movimento del carrello testine ma potrebbe anche essere un problema meccanico interno

Check if the cassette is fully inserted, chec if the paper size loaded is correct. There could be a broken sensor

Check if the cartridges carriage is moving freely, check if there are pieces of paper or something similar inside the printer. Remove any impediment. Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed. Press the ink cartridges until they click into place

The only thing you can do is turn the printer on and off several times. If it doed not work it could be the main board, the flat cable between main board and the control board, or a sensor
