Hey Meredith! Can you describe how you're recording video from the EOS R10? On my Windows 11 box, I can record from USB on the computer using the EOS Utility software. However, I was expecting the R10 to look like a WebCam for recording directly into my Camtasia software. It seems that the Canon EOS R10 camera is not compatible with the EOS Webcam Utility for Windows, without plans to provide an update. Can you share your setup? Are you using a Mac? How is the R10 connected to your computer? Does it look like a Webcam? What software are you using? I'm looking at having to return the R10 if I can't figure this out, I'm looking for a nice camera that can be recognized as a video input device to my Windows software. MANY THANKS!
Cheers for the video, just on my way to buy one. Just a heads up, your exposure keeps changing because you've not set your white balance. Grab a grey card, they're only $7, and lock it in.
Love your videos, they very informative, I have to learn a lot. Just purchase the R10 but after recording for 30 minutes connected to my computer the cámara stops recording. What can this be? E read on the Manuel it is because high rate movie but I don’t know how to change it. Can u help???
Your videos have a lot of solid tips and info and you don't waste time which is great. Thanks a lot. Appreciate. I got 2 r10s and it's weird I had 5dii and 6d and 20d and 1dii and 1ds.. these new ones are more like a phone I hate it.. lol.. but your videos helped. Peace
protip: if you're into maximizing your camera's dynamic range and color grading, shoot in HDR PQ mode for video. Technically, it's 10bit 422. It's kinda crazy in this price point that this camera can shoot 10bit 422 through HDR PQ mode.
@@meredithmarsh Thanks! Been looking for it and thought I missed it. Ok, I really need the tips to get going with this camera... chop, chop, Meredith! 😄
