Amazing images and video John! When I see the tack sharp patterns around the birds eyes, like little tattoos…….well that’s just awesome! 😍👏 (Also loved the background music).

Thank you, thank you. I have seen the red ones a couple of times but I was really fortunate too see both on the one outing...... and not to get stung. The yellow ones can be aggressive is what I was reading. And, I decided to just present the video and photos without worrying about the length to fit what is supposed to be the optimum 5-6 minutes. So thank you again for letting me share! 🙏💖🤗

You got a bunch of fantastic shots there John ! :) You make such great use of that 100-500 ! Yea, unfortunately, my Fotodiox brand extension tubes also have that funky looseness :( They work great..... but I don't like putting a loose connection between my camera and lens, if I don't absolutely have to. Id be willing to pay more for a "quality" extender with a nice, snug fit.

Thank you, thank you. I will pay more too. Since I dont plan to separate the two and if I get more...... I was thinking of using Gorilla tape on the extension tubes.... will look funky but if it works, is it a bad idea? LOL 🙏💖🤗

It really is an awesome camera body. We are fortunate to have all this new tech coming at us so fast. This is actually an "old" camera in terms of tech and still so awesome. 🙏💖🤗

I love long reach and the RF800 f11 gives it. I finally got the RF 1.4x while Canon was having a special that had them paying the sales tax. I am using it with my RF 100-500 and like the results. If there is a difference in sharpness, I don't see it.

I dont see a difference like we had with the old DSLRs. The new tech is just soooooo awesome. Will have it with me in January trying to capture some eagles way up in Mount Vernon and Concrete WA...... I am having fun with the 800 F11 and extension tubes to shorten the MFD. That is fun too. 🙏💖🤗

I had some cheap EF extension tubes and the screws pulled out. I was using a 70-300 IS USM 11 lens on it. Don't remember the brand name.

The Canon ones are the way to go - worth the extra price. I just wish they made RF ones too...... Ah well. 🙏💖🤗

Nice video Jonny! 😀 I have meike as well (I think 18+14mm), and they are not moving on any of my lenses. Only thing is that the mechanism is broken on the one in the front, so I can not separate them anymore. 😁 Cheers!

Thank you Chris - maybe I got a bad set. I have not had a good experience with 3rd party ones for the EF so I was figuring it is kinda the same. Bill, the person who reminded me of the extension tubes has another brand and he has the same problem. You are fortunate.... but they are broken. My canon ones have been dropped and still work like new. Hope them make them sometime in the RF flavor. 🙏💖🤗

doin,t you have like the f4 connectors ( i don,t know exactly what there colled ) ?( round plates , whit the clicksysteem ) to hold the camera , those are really easy to yous , also for your lens ? nice pictures hope to see more

I think I know what system you are talking about - Peak Design? I use the less expensive clips I got the the hardware store that will hold my weight - stronger, less money so I can use it on other camera gear I dont need. LOL I have tried expensive stuff and if I can by with something less expensive, I do that. I have a wonderful carbon tripod for my gimbal that is about a 5th of the price of the really right stuff one that is comparable - it works and I am not paying for the name. 🙏💖🤗
