the FF wins over the DOF for sure, in some scenes, its big benefit - but I personally like the GFX files generaly more - tonality, sharpness and huge range... Thx for sharing and post!
@@redwine1980a I agree!! That’s why I still have both, it would be nice if there wasn’t enough justification to keep both, then I could save some money!
@@redwine1980a no it’s not, and 35 is one of my favorite focal lengths… I think that’s why I don’t gel with the 80mm as much as the 110, 80mm on mf is strange to my eye.
This is a great comparison. Thank you for this. Just what I was looking for and I love your work! I am now going to subscribe and binge-watch your other videos. Love your presentation style too.
Yes it does! Next year a 55 1.7 is coming, that will be some where around a 45mm 1.4 ish, but the 110 and 80 were just too long for inside the trolley. An adapted 50 would have been just fine I think
Thanks for comparison, to me the Skin tones appeared more muddy on the Canon, this may have been due to the contrast settings in post? But i also noticed the Fuji had a better color gamut overall and richer colors.
Both of the cameras are great. However, this is a subjective matter, and no one will ever be wrong regardless of their choice, but I think Fujifilm's colors and tones look better as far as my personal taste goes. Fujifilm used to produce and design films, and the company outlasted all of the other film developers, including Kodak, which was a giant at the time, and transitioned extraordinarily successfully into the digital era, demonstrating a deep mastery of color science and innovative sensor design.
