Canon Rebel T6i (750D): How to Connect to Wifi (Wifi Setup) w/ Examples & How to Use

I show you how to setup/connect your Canon Rebel T6i (750D). This is an awesome feature one of the main reasons i got the T6i. This makes life a lot easier as you can view the photos and videos directly on your smartphone (Android & iPhone). You will be able to right away post your vids and photos to social media as well rather then having to download all the photo/vids onto a computer, then resize then send to your phone. Also note that for example if you have a 6MB photo file and you download onto your phone it will automatically resize to about 1MB saving you storage on your phone.

thanks! I got a new phone and couldn't remember how to connect the camera. I now realize I was forgetting to add the pass code to the wifi. It works now. Yay!

This cannot be done via 1200D, 750D or 760D - but Canon as included this feature in the 800D and 77D - you can only connect the 750D to the EOS Utility through cabled setup - annoying!!!

Great video, I have a few more questions witch was not answered in the video: Can you force the app to download the original photo? Does your phone disconnect from your normal WiFi-network when connecting to the camera? Does the internet on the phone still work when connected to the camera (via mobile network or other WiFi)?

Hi All is great up till I added the encryption code to my ph got a check mark on my new name, You showed us that on your ph the app was added on, I can not find the app on my ph .... dose the app Download right away, or do I have to buy it ??

Is the wireless image viewing via a computer only available on the T6i and not the T6? On my T6 under my Wi-Fi function menu i only see the globe and a smart phone icons, unlike it is shown in this video where you have 5 icons in this menu. This is at 0.53 seconds in. Thanks!

With the apps update, every time I get connected and click images on camera it kicks me out! Maybe it's a glitch but idk
