Welcome to yet again another video about a thrifted film camera that's months behind schedule. Before Canon had their PowerShots, they had SureShots.
This doesn't readily advertise its aperture figures, but it's an F/3.8-9.9 (capable of going down to F/15-32)
As with other automatic point-and-shoots, I've learned to not only look at the aperture specs, but also the max shutter speed, and this maxes out at 1/550th at the wide and and 1/450th at the tele end.

Hey Sam! Thanks for the review, I just picked up this camera. You’ve taken some stunning pictures (and I’m absolutely trying to copy you). I’m a total newbie to any cameras that aren’t fujifilm disposables, so even the simple settings on this camera are new to me. I’m wondering which setting (auto, flash/no flash, RT) you used for your photos? And which settings you’d use in different scenarios? Ie which setting you’d use for taking photos of people vs photos of landmarks, which setting for inside vs outside etc. I’ve loaded up some b&w 400 ISO film just to test out the different settings, but will no doubt pick up some colour film before my next vacation (if like you say, we can afford those anymore).

I usually prefer the RT mode for pretty much anything in the day as it lets me focus with a half-press, but for those nighttime photos in which I use the tripod I have to use the no-flash mode
