IKR like im a mikashu shipper n when mika gets sassy and talks back to shu it makes me so happy theyre really starting to become equals :D and then fandom is just omg mika is baby and precious and pure n it rubs me the wrong way asbxbbxbx
now that everyone's saying it, i honestly hate how tons of characters get reduced to their main ships ahhhfjdns 😭😭 biggest example of this is niki who we really don't even know much backstory about which is understandable because he's a new character but even if he does get backstory it's literally all connected to rinne like... i love rinne but man the story writers need to tone it down on the ship bait because almost all of niki's content has rinne in it but rinne's official content isn't even filled to the brim with niki. it's so sad to see audhjssj i hope they expand more on a lot of character's relationships and don't just limit it
NO because Makoto could totally be here too but there wasn’t a trope that fit him as well 😭 TrickStar gets so reduced to tropes when they are so much more than that in canon

I feel like the struggle for enstars is when you love all the characters, you juggle with their personalities and you can’t really distinguish them without reducing them.
I mean Ritsu is pretty much also reduced to MaoRitsu especially when it comes to comparing him on his unit mates. (Struggle of being MaoRitsu lover but also wanting Mao & Ritsu have more focus & attention as characters than that)
i love the boys past the shipping (or... anti shipping for makoto and izumi), they deserve better than to just serve as cake toppers for ritsu and izumi lore/appreciation
a lot of the older (as in, added to the game earlier) enstars characters seem to have fallen victim to this particular era of mid-2010s tumblr fandom culture that perpetuated these sorts of depthless interpretations of characters, which have been embedded in the enstars fandom enough to seep into fan content even long after that era of tumblr's peak. not to say that there aren't new and terrible flavours of character misinterpretation in the recent enstars fandom; the newer characters (alkakurei etc) have problems with mischaracterisation in the fandom too, but there seem to be less instances of watering characters down to nothingburger archetypes now
the rei part is gonna make me cry i hate how he is js reduced to that when his character is so well written (sorry for the MULTIPLE comments im js feeling a bit silly!!!)

I understand hajime is almost an adult but his design and personality were made so fans can't help but baby him (in like a motherly way) Hajime also isn't allowed to cut his hair because it wouldn't go with rabits youthful boy concept. If they decide to change up his design a bit to make him seem older I would be okay with it too.

Ibara Saegusa one of the best most complex enstars I love him. enstars fans just see him as evil corporate guy though without inspecting why he's like that in the first place.
