Beyoncé has always been an icon. She has been graceful and humble throughout her career. In this interview with Oprah, she shares words of wisdom. #Beyoncé #oprah #interview
She’s a con woman, encouraging young women to run around being 304’s and ‘you don’t need no man’ is her entire brand. She leaves you dumb ass women standing around singing ‘all the single ladies’, while she goes home and bakes cup cakes for her husband
If you’re a naturally private person an interview with personal questions is going to be a bit uncomfortable. She did them for her job and that’s respectable. I like that she’s now in a place in her career where she don’t HAVE to do them, that’s a flex not many famous ppl have.
After my newborn daughter died i saw her documentary, in which she said that her miscarriage taught her to mother herself first before mothering another person
@@dumfriesspearhead7398 can you father yourself? Or is this just some super power women have where they can mother themselves? Beyoncé has a real mother who has been with her every step of the way she never has or could mother herself. The statement is utterly ridiculous.
@@repentyasharahla7632 nurture yourself, take care of yourself before you do somebody else. It makes sense. If you can't carry yourself you'll carry no one.
@@ruth5538 that I understand but her statement still doesn’t make sense. People will try to find some deep meaning to it because of who she is but children and adults who grow up without a mother know they can’t mother themselves.
@@NourKLIAlmsot every artist in Hollywood has been sued whether it’s publicized or not. Also Beyonce has been sued in the past and they all were UNSUCCESSFUL. Just like this one will FLOP just like your comment is a FLOP.
I was mulling over this and I wonder how long it takes to have your own life and when do you know exactly that you have your own life. I ask because I am over 40 and although I have my own life which means I am now starting out on my 3rd career and does that now mean I have my own life and can have a husband because if I’m honest I never feel ready.
@@blossomuk If you’ll never feel ready then maybe you don’t need marriage. It’s not a necessity. I’m 20 years old but I feel like it can happen at almost any age as long as you are at a point in your life where you feel like you can offer yourself the necessities, that you want from life. Is that a house? Is that a career? A car? Stable mental state? Etc. It doesn’t matter as long as you know, that everything you need isn’t relying on that marriage. Because god forbid, if things go wrong for whatever reason… you need to be sure that you still have what you had before the marriage.
Honestly, it’s not being 40 that makes you ready to be a wife. It’s so many internal factors and honestly it’s if you ever meet the right one! That’s probably the biggest thing. You can be amazing but if you don’t meet someone that embodies that which you seek for marriage then that has more to do with if you’ll get a husband or not.
@@isaidwhatisaid3564 Being only 20 yrs you laid that out perfectly. As I was reading through it, I had comments I wanted to make, but by the time I finished reading it, you had covered it all. Well said.
She doesn't and it can be proved. If you or someone you know are a member of the Beehive, ask Beyonce: if she could only choose one and Has to give up the other, would she choose her career OR family? Let's be real, she would choose her Family of course. That's because for women, your biggest accomplishment is your family NOT your career. Let's be CLEAR, the women who are so hell bent on their career it's because that's all they got.
@@gzsmiz45 Interesting comment. One thing I’ve always wanted was my own family. Never happened, so career it is. I pray that one day I’ll have both. Until then, I’ve found contentment.
@@gzsmiz45 Beyonce would DEFINITELY choose her career over family if she could start over. She didn't even have her hoe phase Jay came in early && took all lat away lol
@@gzsmiz45 you also have to remember there was a time when Beyonce actually did choose work over Hov before they became really serious, which he shed light on in his song "Lost One"
@@gzsmiz45 she said have ur own life… and u equate that to meaning career… that doesn’t have to mean her career or her family lol. U think she would give up her kids?
It's one of the dumbest pieces of advice. See what the bible says about marriage. Marriage is a covenant with the most high. Beyonce advice is for the secular world. So if you follow her, just stay single and do the devil work
I don't think Beyonce realizes that everything she says, just gives females more creative ways to be hateful and standoffish towards guys. She's going to be the reason every female in the world is a lesbian and no more babies will be born.
@@why717 Yeah, exactly my point. These brainwashed females who do everything she says. So when she makes songs like "independent women" well, now a man can't even do a simple kind gesture cause she thinks he's insulting her and saying she can't do anything without him. When she says "have your own life, before you're somebody's wife" well, now every female is going to take that to mean don't get married cause men are just going to try to ruin your life and enslave you. I even saw that some people said they were cancelling their gym memberships, cause Beyonce did an interview with Essence magazine saying that she was gaining a gut or "FUPA" (as they call it) and she was okay with it. So now if a guy doesn't want a woman who looks all fat and unhealthy, then he's a bad person just cause Beyonce told them it was okay not to take care of themselves and a guy is just supposed to accept it or else.
@@shogun0810 Forgiving her cheating husband was HER choice to make, in HER life. Just like the MILLIONS of other women that stay with their spouses that have cheated. She is human.
And when God shows up and brings judgment, those who made them their god will go down with them. People said that about Diddy and now look. Stop idolizing other humans and turn your life over to Yahweh. The real God above all gods while you have a chance.
@@beautifulforhim_If you check the statement (and punctuation), the OP didn't say she is his God. He said she's a rare talent, then exclaimed "My God!" as in Oh my God!
What I really like about this excerpt is exactly that. The respect for her own privacy as should be understood by Oprah herself. She doesn’t like people talking about her intimate relationships either.
I know! Part of me loves her and refuses to believe the rumours, but another part of me sees all the evidence there is to back up a lot of the rumours and accusations, I think they might be true 🤷🏼♀️
@@kb9457 I wish Will and Jada listened.. I don't mind giving someone pointers when we talk privately or they give me pointers privately but to let loose in public about your private life is tacky.. I see if you giving people something motivational on how to keep their relationship going and that's what's up but keep that sh_t limited..
“Make sure you have your own life, before you become someone else’s wife”🎯 Bingo B! Getting into a relationship and putting all that responsibility on your partner to bring you happiness to fulfillment is delusional and selfish. Don’t do it!
"Have your own life before getting married." Wise words Beyoncé said here... So if the partner ever leaves, you'll still be financially and kinda-emotionaly stable.

This is something that I wish I had heard early on in my life because I had got married young and didn't do anything for me. Everything was about was about my husband and my kids. 10 years later and I'm just starting to live for myself and not feeling guilty about it. Ladies please love yourself first!
You should stayed in your marriage if you had a good husband. You are basically saying your family was not worth it and you should not have had it when you did
@@jessiegoodwin7479 I'm still married to my husband. I was saying that I was broken when we first met and had lost myself in him completely for a while. I literally just learned how to love myself because I couldn't love anyone fully until I learned how to love myself first. Don't put words in my mouth, my family are my everything and in order to be the best wife and mother, you have fix you first. And that is what don't feel guilty about!
@@jessiegoodwin7479 who are you to tell a stranger about their marriage? She didn't even say whether they are still together or not. Maybe the husband wasn't considerate and she left, but maybe they are still together and once the children grew up, she started to prioritise herself.
That's what this New age God of this world talk have you feeling, when you put GOD first and become born again, you can be transformed by the RENEWING of your mind Find out who you are in the body of Christ. You can still be who you are, go for what you want, and have a career. When you get married you become one, your needs can still be met, your husband and kids didn't stop that, we are the builders of our home. As long as he is supportive and you all have God in your union, everything will Work out. Don't let this new age rhetoric make you feel bad for doing what the Bible says is our job to do. You can still have a career and meaningful life, just don't make your career your life. Discernment is key I pray you feel better, seek the kingdom First and everything else will be added. ❤ Pastor Kevin la Ewing has videos about these things try him. GOD bless and keep you.
@@udochukwuemmanuel5360 Oprah is a billionaire. Who gives a damn about having a man when you're filthy rich. There's nothing a man can do for a rich woman. A man would just be an accessory, not a necessity.
@@udochukwuemmanuel5360single where??? She and Stedman are living it UP all the time hun. The simply don't keep the public all in their business. Which is why u have no clue what u are talking about.
Right!! She seemed to have an attitude about it. Especially when she asked her the question about being a wife. She said "wife" like it was a bad word. Oprah has her own wounds and I get it.
You can also find someone who hasn’t fully built their “own life” and build it together. I personally like that option better. It makes married life more of a team concept.
This isn’t the first time she has said this and I took it to heart the first time I heard it. Growing up around women who made men their lives and constantly kept getting their heartbroken yet everything they did was to be what a man wanted them to be . This was refreshing and life changing. I love this woman for that
You didn't grow up with women making men their lives. None of your experience in a marriage/relationship is first hand. But just remember you took this to heart. Because no man will ever make you his 'life' or Wife either. And if you somehow tricked one into doing so, you'll ruin it. Have a great day! 😇
Been there done that, I know my worth and my network, I will never let another man break me down! #myhusbanwasntit! Only beautiful thing he had in common is our 3 kids! I raised by myself while he was still living like he had no family, grown on high school shit 💯
@@teresabarrett4324 Red flag alert! We have a Homewrecker in our mist 😂😂 You raised them by yourself because you broke your own home and marriage. I'm sure you were the one breaking your husband down with all that Sign Language.
I told my wife a similar thing when we got married, I wanted her to have something in her life that jist hers, something not me or our son or anyone can lay claim to. And now she has her own business. I would tell any my son or any young person the same thing. A relationship only works when two whole people come together.
A relationship doesn’t only work when two whole people come together lmao. My wife and I have been married together for 20 yrs since high school. We had no idea what type of responsibility we were getting ourselves into when we were that young or the hardships would face both coming from broken homes. But we loved Each other, we work hard at communication despite our different styles, we compromise for each other in many ways and we trust God to help us with our imperfections. By no means were we whole but what we have is working and I wouldn’t tell others they need to be whole make it work. We are a constant work in progress and we’ve learned to embrace just that.

People put Beyonce down a lot behind the way she speaks & articulates herself during interviews, but it actually makes her more human and relatable and to be honest, I think she interviews just fine!... 💯💯💯
Everything isn't always 'code & conspiracy'! She was answering the question, in regards to her managing a career & her personal life with a husband & family. Her comment was not directed AT Oprah. She was answering the question. The part about 'make sure you have your own life before you're someone else's wife' was relationship-with-a-man advice that she has learned. Be your own person. Have your own strengths and don't get swallowed up in his.
That Lapsus... "Bounderies"hahahaha 😂 she knows Oprah and was on her Guards 😂😂😂😂😂 That "uuuhhhhhfff" when Oprah asked her "how do you find time to get married" says it all ! ❤
I just love me some Beyonce because she is so authentic and is that girl without flaunting except when she is doing her job on that stage and she kills it.
That’s right, most who don’t have their own life seems to totally depend on their spouse for everything and then if something happens it’s hard for them to adjust because they looked to someone else for everything and looked to that person to complete them rather than already being complete before they met them.
And they will purposely throw it in your face and turn into a narcissistic, aggressive idiot because they can. And they will have the lawyers to try to be spiteful to make sure you have nothing when they get tired of you. We've seen it too many times. We are smart nowadays! Even in my CE credits for my real estate license one of the sections talked about dealing with divorcees. They said that it is known women are more likely to be the ones that start over. I was shocked to see that in a real estate course. That's the facts! Smart people learn from their mistakes. Wise people learn from others. And my entire life I have seen women lose majorly when fully depending on a man. Especially as a real estate agent. Ain't no way in hell I won't have my own shyyyyyt! As soon as a ninja start taking me for granted and acting single, I'm out!✌🏾 I WILL ALWAYS have a private F.. U account. I tell every young girl I come across to do the same!
maybe if the media was not so annoying and constantly tried twisting her words she would enjoy interviews :/ all the media does is try to make her out to be some evil diva who's the queen of the "illuminati"
Beyonce doesn't do a lot of interviews (apparently she's kind of shy in real life) but she has always been such a class act. I can't believe there are people out there who think she's "overrated"
