There aren't many analysts that would agree the Canucks were a deeper team. The Oilers defense is much stronger than the Canucks', the Oilers top 2 lines were far superior, Henrique not being in hurt their 3rd line. The difference in this series wasn't the Canucks gave it to the Oilers, the Oilers suffocated the Canucks and they weren't able to get anything done. It was a fun series, but the better, deeper team won.

As a Canucks fan. We were all dreaming or wishing the Canucks will win the Stanley Cup this year with luck and great goal tending but in reality there were too many passengers on this team. The worst passenger, Ian Cole, has 3 goals and 2 assists into his own net. J̌ust be happy Canucks made it to second round game 7 with an exciting end!! Sad to lose but do you really think Canucks really deserves to win maybe only by luck at this point.😂 😂😂

I think the Canucks had the deeper and better overall team, but the Oilers had the experience. After all this was Edmonton's 7th series in the last 3 years. Canucks started off strong but the Oilers picked their battles, preserved their energy and kept gaining more momentum as the series went on. Vancouver really didnt look good in game 6 and 7.

Edm. showed with their poor start and climb up the standings that they were a force and Van has had an over achievment season which will be proven next year

They looked like they were barely trying oh well It was a fantastic year.

When the team that gets the highest percentage of their shots on net plays the team that gets the lowest, maybe the end result is inevitable. I didn't see a lot of Quit in those blue uniforms, I saw the Oilers play a much more stifling defence than everyone in BC seems to realize they can play. And BTW, I wish I had a waterfront to be at. Count your blessings.

The Canucks had zero. I repeat, zero drive in that game. Game 7 and they were asleep for 50/60 minutes. Silovs was hung out to dry, Hughes looked depressed all game, Petterson is a cry-baby who needs to man up. The Oilers wanted it, period. Now I'm a Canadian, I cheer for all of our teams. But the Oilers have a better chance moving forward in my opinion so I was hoping they'd win. But as a leafs fan, I know the pain. I know whats it like to see your boys not show up. It hurt to see Silovs defeated on the bench. But that wasn't a game 7... the Canucks didn't want it.

Vancouver reminds me abit of how the Oilers looked last year vs the Knights. But Vancouver can't win with barely any offense, the worse PP in the playoffs won't work either. D is great and important but Draisaitl said it, they get paid big money to make big plays and Hughes and Pettersson offensively were not there, Hughes was big on d but hes your best player and was scoreless in the playoffs.

Not being a Canuck fan, I don't know the team as well as others. However those who know them more intimately should feel quite proud of your team. Edmonton has been working like rented donkeys to get to this point and your guys almost beat the Oil by being relative upstarts. There are good things coming for your team. BTW, if they had beaten the Oilers I would in fact cheered for them all the way to the Cup. But I can understand the frustration. Like, the years Calgary beat Edmonton, especially the year they won the cup, I just can't cheer for Calgary, even if they're the last Canadian team standing. I've never had that kind of feeling about Vancouver--I guess until now Edmonton and Vancouver have never had a huge hockey rivalry. By the way, could we have your third string goalie please!!?? 😉
