Canvases Who Defended Their Tattoos 🥊 Ink Master 

I felt so bad for that poor older lady getting called "leather face" and various other insulting comments that lead her to the point of crying

Nice to see these people defend their artist, sausage especially is my favourite because I feel he truly cares for his clients

It always makes me tear up a little when the human canvas jury likens the mom's portrait to Leatherface right in front of her... regardless of the tattoo itself, it is of her face technically, so you basically just called her a monster. Seeing the mom cry when they say that breaks my heart. :( They seemed okay with the work and although it is a show and the work is meant to be judged, could have had more decorum in front of the model when criticizing it.

Duffy’s squirrel was so cute and well done for the amount of moving her canvas was doing during the tattoo process! Those other canvases was were so rude to her, like just bc you personally wouldn’t want it doesn’t make it a bad tattoo!

I personally love the first dragon tattoo. They said its proportions are off, but it looks more like the dragon is coming at you. It has perspective to it. And how is it unreadable? You can definitely tell what you're looking at lol.

I do like the fact that the canvases defended their tattoo I mainly feel bad for the mother because she loved the whole thing if they hated it then they should have just said it's going to the bottom not throw all those insults right at her

regardless of the competition, if the canvas loves it, the artist wins. Their body, theit tattoo, their judgement is the only one that matters.

Imagine how you'd feel if someone said a tattoo of your face looks like Leatherface. Even if it was a bad tattoo, that's still your face. I'm super upset about that scene omg. Poor lady!!

The lady tattoo wasn't bad at all, when the skin heals, it becomes lighter and it will look even better

they were so awful about that portrait of her mom:(like it wasn’t a good tattoo but they should’ve worded it way better, it was really insensitive especially bc she was right there;(

I hate people, they were so rude about something that the old lady was actually impressed by and stooped to the point of her making her cry and even continued insulting it after making her cry.

I think this video highlights an aspect of the shows main problem, which is actually giving the customer what they asked for. Especially because it’s free.. they should be allowed an individual take after the tattoo is done, for the artists sake That being said, great video

Why do they ask gasp and moan like it's the end of the world when they get the challenge where the canvases get whatever they want tattooed? That's literally what your daily life would be at a tattoo shop lol

I love how the negative compilations are all 2 hours long, and this one positive compilation lasts 20 minutes 😂

I honestly like the motivation behind Sausage's challenge pick. It may be a bit nerdy, but I think the bit he said about the separating the veterans from the rookies at the drawing table, essentially boils down to separating the artists from the photo copy machines, and as an artist myself I respect that motive a lot.

I agree that the portrait of the old lady was a bit unflattering...but the comments were damn awful! Also considering that tattoos do lighten up a lot over time, it will probably look better after some months which is one of the most important things in a tattoo

the one thing i hated about this show is the judges would pick their favorites over quality sometimes, you could pick who would be in the finals early just by who the judges pick

Honestly, I'd care more about the customer's opinion than the jury. They're the one you're trying to tailor art to. They're the one who has to have it on their body practically permanently

So the brief was "comic book characters" not superheroes so like naa that drawing does totally fit the brief. It a style choice but it still comic book.

The most important part is that the canvas enjoys it. Thats all that matters. If i had been Sausage and gone home over that, id be happy I delivered a tat he enjoyed.

Im convinced the whole fight thing later in the season with kyle and chris was planned and that was why jason went home that day. No one is gonna want a tattoo that makes their relative look like leatherface. Kyle should have been sent home for arguably the worst tattoo of that season.

wow, them being mean to an old woman was tough to watch. Beyond that it is an extremely accurate tattoo and with time it will lighten up and probably look perfect. She was such a nice lady too, even when they started to be mean she politely reminded them that it was of her face. Then dude is like "it looks like leatherface." All I could think was, someone slap some sense into that man. A little mad at the daughter actually. I know if my mom had went and gotten a tattoo of my grandma on her and my grandma had been there, my mom would have cussed out every last one of them.
