Ah ok, thanks. I just followed your guide which is very useful and replaced my bearings. Spent an hour trying to force the rubber part on the new top bearing before realising that it was bottom bearing i was pushing it into. Worth noting that the top one is the one with larger inner diameter. Thanks for the video.
Is it the same bearings for the older rim brake 2016 CF SLX 9? There is a shop on eBay selling 2 bearings for 20 quid but can I trust non Canyon parts? 50 quid seems ridiculous…especially as I’ve just had to fork out 280 quid to replace the bearings in my Bora One wheels. Had my bike shop told me parts and labour would cost that much I’d have declined. I was positively fuming. Expected no more than 60 quid. No where near as bad car mechanics though. In house coffee is better too.
@@fivevalleycycles 🙏 at 20 quid I’ll take a gamble on them. Just wish I’d done a bit of research before taking my Bora wheels in. I had no idea bearings could cost so much. They’re not even the higher end Cult bearings. The guys in my LBS are great but it did feel like I’d been ripped off.
@@cabaneencac5168 I believe the Grizl Al’s use the Canyon GP7310-01 Headset, which is not pressfit. Should be able to just pull the bearings out. If not they may be seized and might need prying out
