Showing around the Canyon Off road 4 person roof top tent including how it opens up and packs down, how I mounted it and our first impressions after a 3 night trail trip on K'gari aka Fraser Island.
Hey brother. - where did you pick this up in BNE? - I was also looking for your 12 v setup vid it couldn’t find it. Look forward to hearing from ya mate
Hi mate. I had this shipped to Brisbane from Canyon off road WA. It was a bit of a gamble getting one without being able to see it first but it worked out great. Shipping was around $450 so expensive but still a good overall price. I actually haven’t done a 12v video because I ended up having to do it in a rush just before leaving for a trip but I will try show the setup next time we are away. It’s a pretty basic and typical setup. Thanks for reaching out, I hope this reply was helpful.
It does a great job at keeping the dust out. We have all our bedding inside and have done a lot of dusty roads including the Oodnadatta Track and Simpson Desert Crossing and our bedding has always been clean.
Hi mate. We have had another trip in it since this video. This time in much cooler weather in NSW. Very happy with it so far and still would recommend getting it. I will probably try and get some more use out of it before another video just to really test the longevity of it. Thanks Elvin.
Kings don’t have one the same size. The Tourer x has only a 1600mmx2020mm mattress whereas the Canyon one has a 2100mmx1900mm mattress. If kings had bigger one I probably would have got it as I have a lot of kings stuff already and they are good enough. And using a screwdriver to open it is no big deal as one is always in my door for work anyway. Thanks for your input. It appreciated.
