Canyon's e-mountain bike range had nearly every base covered but with the UCI E-Enduro World Cup Series growing in stature on the racing calendar, the brand has found a gap to be filled with the new Strive:ON. As an enduro race-specific e-MTB, the Strive is designed to climb as well as it descends and excel between the tape. We were invited to Italy to get a feel for what this new machine is all about.

I think you rode a size large in the torque.. do you think sizing it down would have helped its agility as well? On paper the geo numbers are almost identical, just a bit lower BB on the torque and longer travel. ..and the torque also has an option for that huge 900 Wh battery

I did ride a large Torque:ON and sizing down on the Strive:ON did wonders for agility but because of the weight of the whole e-bike, stability is still very good. If it were me, I'd pick the Strive:ON as it's a more forgiving bike and a much better all-rounder. The Torque:ON is stiff, big and makes the most sense if you mostly ride bike parks.

Great video, I’ve got one on order and have ordered in medium and I’m 6ft, how tall are you to be comfortable on the medium?

I'm 5'10" and I was very happy with the medium. I'd usually go for a large but the smaller size added a much needed scoop of agility.

It's certainly versatile but I would go for the Spectral:ON or Neuron:ON for a better all-rounder.

I believe you can use the Bosch powermore 250 (1,5kg) range extender without the big battery. You will be around 21kg then

The Stive :ON has a big problem o the BatteryLatch, that develop play, unpluging and turning of the bike It is affecting all bikes, and deffect will appear accordingly to ride style. Canyon nor Bosch has a solution, and Customers are strandled with a deffective product. Cuidado Las Strive :on vienen con un problema de deseno en lo sistema de cerrar la bateria, gañando huelga e desconectando la bateria. Canyon lo sabe, pero solo cambia la cerradura y poco más. Tarde o temperano, lo irá ocorrer nuevamente.

Something tells me Maxi Dickerhof & Ghost did a much better job with the hybrid slamr x series than Canyon. Considering specs, geometry and price.

And if I'm not mistaken they still can't or won't produce a mullet in small frame. And the alloy seems to be 27,5 only. Wtf Ghost did this 5 years ago. I will never buy Canyon now!

While I won't persuade you to steer away from Ghost, neither the Canyon Strive or Strive:ON is available in alloy at the moment.

The sizing is interesting, The medium has a 175 reach which is the same as my large nukeproof mega
