We usually spend three to four days in national parks but for a variety of reasons, we only had three to four hours to spend at Canyonlands National Park. Plus, we took some time to check out Dead Horse Point State Park, where we snagged a last-minute campsite for one night.
Be sure to put both of these incredible parks on your to-do list in Utah, even if you only have time for a drive-by visit like we did. And if you can block out the time, we suggest taking days or even a week to check out all three units of Canyonlands and the trails at Dead Horse Point.
