Thank you for the video! I will be there next weekend in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. What time of day did you drive the Trail? I'm trying to figure out what time of day and which direction of travel will be best for photography. My first thought is start at sunrise. Potash Road to Shafer and up the switchbacks, but that is just a guess.
Hey Mark, this video was shot in the morning, probably between 8-9 am in October. To be honest, I think you can get great light along the trail both at sunrise and sunset. There's so many different angles and views to shoot. I've shot some of the best sunsets I've ever seen at Dead Horse Point above the trail. Good luck and enjoy....such an awesome location!
