Capcom Fighting Collection - Announcement Trailer - Nintendo Switch 

This may very well be our last chance to show capcom that we are interested in a new Darkstalkers game. They've gone on record saying that we didn't get a new installment because the last collection Darkstalkers Resurrection didn't hit sales targets. If you a Darkstalkers fan and wanna see Darkstalkers 4 this is a must buy!

This is the most love Darkstalkers has gotten from Capcom in around 9 years. Think about that.

I never thought I'd see the day when RED EARTH of all things get a re-release! I'm so happy right now, I can't wait for this game!

The Darkstalkers games make this a worthwhile purchase. I hope they base it off the Dreamcast/PSP collection with all the bonuses included. This is pretty damn cool, would love for the Darkstalkers franchise to also get a new installment.

The Darkstalkers love here is absolutely beautiful! The last re-release of the games were on PS3 and 360 so it’s wonderful to see them come to modern consoles, especially Red Earth which never had a home console release! Even if you’re not good at fighting games these are still worth picking up to support and show Capcom we wanna see more of their older franchises brought back.

I've always wanted to play a Darkstalkers game, and now I can. Getting this immediately.

How exciting to be able to play all these games on the Switch I hope and one day Capcom relaunches all Marvel vs Capcom in a compilation from X-Men vs Street Fighter to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

Everyone knows street fighter is their most popular fighting series and it's in this collection. I'm just glad they put the spotlight on there other fighting games for this

Darkstalkers has been around almost as long as I've been alive now I can finally give the series a good shot. I've been waiting for a Switch port for a while, never thought I'd see it.

Capcom is so rad! While Nintendo is removing their legacy content from their Wii U and 3DS, Capcom is over here making their content more accessible to everyone!

As a 45 year old that lived in Arcades, I have to say this is one of the best announcements in my entire life. Day one purchase.

I'm getting this for the Darkstalkers franchise alone! There's some other goodies in there I'd like to try but it's been some time since I've had access to some good ol monster mash.

Puzzle fighters makes it worth buying the whole thing

Capcom should make " Capcom vs. Capcom " fighting game where you can play all the characters from different series into one and add things from mvc2 in it.

I was legitimately expecting to be underwhelmed with 5 versions of Street Fighter 2 but I'm actually really excited for this.

I never thought I'd ever see the day Super Puzzle Fighter makes a return to console! I was heartbroken when it was taken off smartphones.

Now THIS is an anniversary collection

Everyone buy multiple copies, Capcom is testing us to see how much we want Darkstalkers/Vampire Savior. Show them we want this series to return and others as well. Tell friends and family let’s resurrect darkstalkers and Capcom other IP’s!

Although I'm generally not that big into Capcom fighters in the first place, I'll buy this eventually and support it in whatever way I can. Because I'd still love to have these games come back in the limelight and see their fanbases happy and satisfied. That, and I really like Darkstalkers, and I would *love* to see that series return. 😊

For the 1st time, all of the Darkstalkers games on Nintendo Switch is a dream come true for me! Hopefully, Capcom can get the marketing together and give us Darkstalkers 4 after many failed attempts over the past decades.

Every single Darkstalkers game (including the ones that didn't make it into the West until now), Red Earth, Cyberbots, Super Gem Fighter, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and Hyper Street Fighter II. Now THIS is an all-star fighting game collection! The only thing this collection is missing is Rival Schools, but considering the awesome lineup we have here I'm more than willing to let that slide. Now I have yet another reason to look forward to June along with Mario Strikers: Battle League and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes!

Our time has come to support darkstalkers with our fullest by buying the collection on day 1 to show capcom that we NEED a revival!

Please give us the MVC series and the Capcom vs SNK series. I would definitely buy them in a heartbeat

God I hope this is a big success and somehow leads to Darkstalkers 4! They finally put the FULL versions on modern consoles and I'm gonna buy it everywhere. I don't even care, just yes. I love Darkstalkers!

Also happy to see the Puzzle Fighter games featured in this collection as well. Why didn't Capcom just add Hyper Street Fighter 2 to the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection??? The only game in this collection that I don't really care about is Cyberbots. Instead of Cyberbots, why couldn't Capcom have added instead the likes of either Power Stone or any of their Marvel fighting games or Capcom vs SNK??? Heck I wouldn't have minded Tatsunoko vs Capcom either.

Red Earth/Warzard finally getting a console release is long overdue.

Well, this was a pleasant surprise. I'm a little disappointed we're not getting Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 in here, but I'm going to get this solely for Darkstalkers.

This is so weird and full of the unexpected packaged with known greats. Really makes me feel like anything is possible in the Switch

For a little Darkstalkers history, the last 3 games were merged together as Darkstalkers 3 on the PS1 which is also available on the PlayStation Store for the PS3. Key differences are Vampire Savior (which lacks Donovan Huitzil, Pyron, and Donovan Baine and what the Darkstakers 3 version of Darkstalkers 3 version from Darkstalkers Resurrection is based on as it was the only one released in the US until now. The other two which have their first International release are Vampire Hunter 2 (an updated version of the original known as Night Warriors Darkstalkers Revenge in the US, uses the new features from Savior, but only limits the characters to the that previously mentioned game so the four new characters are excluded) and Vamipire Savior 2 (which swapped out Jon Talbain, Rikou, and Sasquatch for the three aforementioned characters not in the original. Overall it means that unlike the PS1 port or Chaos Tower the full cast of characters will not be available in any of those games and if anyone wants to set up a match between those 10 specific characters it will involve using a specific game for the match-up. Overall the idea of using Vampire Savior alone was one of the regrettable things that DarkStalkers Resurrection lacked without those three characters.

Love tht Cyberbots was included! If Rival Schools was added to this collection, it would be near perfection.

Wow, I'd have paid for a Darkstalkers collection by itself but adding Puzzle Fighter and Gem Fighter is a welcome bonus. Never had a chance to play Cyberbots or Red Earth but they look solid. Looking forward to checking those out too.

This is automatically better than Darkstalkers Resurrection because you can play as Dee in this one. Just press select 9 times while hovering over random, then any attack button. This only works in vampire hunter/savior 2.

There are SO many classic, fun, and underrated Capcom fighters from way back in the day. Like on the Dreamcast. Games like Tech Romancer and Power Stone. Would love to see those get some re-releases one day :(

It really says something in more ways than one when _HALF_ of this collection is JUST ABOUT *THE **_ENTIRE_** DARKSTALKERS SERIES!!!*

This would be prefect if we can combine the rosters of Vampire Hunter 2 and Savior 2 into one. We also need Resurrection back.

There's already a solid Street Fighter collection on the Switch so it would have been nice if they had done say the EX games which have basically gone forgotten.

Capcom remembered Darkstalkers, that's nice. And we're getting Red Earth too? Sick! Still no Star Gladiator or Rival Schools though.

Hurray for a billionth Darkstalkers port! (jokes aside, this is still pretty awesome, I love Darkstalkers and I'm getting this for the Japan exclusive versions, and if this does well, we might even get a new game, so I'm still super stoked!)

I’m in. I’m not even a huge fan of fighting games, but I am a huge fan of owning games that I’ll play a few seconds of every few months or so.

I am so stoked for this. First Klonoa announced, so I don't have to overpay for the PS1 and PS2 games, and now this just as I was looking to import the Sega Saturn version of Darkstalkers.

Nice attempt at convincing me to buy this. But I want Capcom vs SNK 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 both with online mode!
