It's the arcade versions of both Power Stone games - which is to say, the worst versions. The Dreamcast ports, and PSP collection both had features (including items, characters, and modes), that the arcade versions didn't. Power Stone deserves better than this.

@Bunnsofsteel your over thinking things guest characters are becoming an expectation in fighting games at this point and Terry with SNK and Capcom having a relationship is an easy sell and get for Capcom and this whole collection is more of a sign that the fighting game collections are selling companies aren't as subtle as you think they are there's no money in it if they had plans for it you'd know

So far almost every Nintendo direct (not counting the directs for singular games or the museum) this year had a fighting gaming with Maximilian Dood freaking out. The last Partner Showcase it was SNES Killer Instinct, then the last direct had the MvC collection, now this Partner Showcase it’s Capcon fighting collection volume 2 (featuring CvS).

For my money it most certainly is. This is capcom fighting game nirvana right here .This plus the MVC collection.. I mean god damn. Get a street fighter 3 collection in there, which would make sense with it being "collection 3" and it would make the system I"m buying it on + games a permanent fixture in my gaming set up till I'm old and grey.

@@fireflocs previous capcom collections let you change version & regions. & they already made changes to power stone like adding in bonus characters without having to unlock them. they've also added training modes to arcade versions of MvC that came from the console version. so they may add in the extra modes as well. like adventure mode from power stone 2. who knows.

The Dreamcast version of Power Stone 1 and 2 will still be superior. This is the arcade version. Dreamcast port had items, levels, and modes that the arcade didn't.

Man, i remember playing Capcom vs SNK 2 on the GameCube. Im not good at fighting games, but this is going to be awesome. Get to hear that banging soundtrack again.
