www.reefari.com Here's a quick video of a recent trip to Cape Palmerston National park, about 1 hour drive south of Mackay. A popular camping, 4wding and popular with fisherman at Cape creek for crabbing and fishing. This was more of a research trip with the kids, and try out our new 4wd's on the beach a bit. Both went well and had a lot of fun. The 4wding was quite easy, good firm beach with some soft spots, Tracks were easy and a great mix of scenery. This National park comes highly recommended and we even got a couple of legal mud crabs off the bank of a small creek.
