Thank you for posting this footage. What a fantastic watch and never say die attitude. As said previously, pure genius and a wonderful attitude and way of thinking around every hurdle. On a broader spectrum, hugely inspiring in someone achieving their goal whatever that may be. Thank you.

Ahhhh... the grin breaking out across my face... Ahaaa !! It's a wire bender... Mt genius.. brilliant 👏 👏. Well done ✔️ well thought out.. must be supremely satisfying, to make the tool n then using it to do jobs.. lol... i love doing stuff like that... Where there's a will, there's a way.. Really enjoy watching these videos. Liked n subbed.. 🙂
I have a Heart Surgeon friend he can get me a dozen Hemostats, I pour my own Bottom Bouncers, the wire bender bolt and Wire bender would be worth a few hours in the shop puttering
I'm in the US and had no idea what was being built. Thankfully found in the comments "swim feeder" so I could find how this are used. Don't think legal in the US. I think maybe we have more fish available so catch something like carp is pretty easy with chumming.
AFW Tooth Proof Stainless Steel Wite leader material is awesome for wire fishing leaders and it’s cheap as hell. Like 5$ a package for 30 feet. Also you can bend perfect wraps by hand and break it off clean at the wrap knot with some practice. All you need is strong fingers and some attention to detail. I like the being pliers in the video. Having some of these would make building steel leaders much easier on my hands. 👍 I don’t want to sacrifice my good hemostats though.
I know a fisherman who connected a split ring and a gamakatsu hook on Craftsman 7/16 box end wrench and caught a king salmon and a halibut on it under a boat in AK 😂
I’d love to make the wire wrapping pliers out of hemostats but I don’t have want to sacrifice my good clips. 😂😂😂 maybe I’ll find an old pair or something. They look like they work so well. The leader I use is easy to had wrap the wire but it’s just a little hard on my fingers. Tooth Proof Steel Leader wire is a great inexpensive product for making steel leaders. It’s really cheap. You can also make leaders in the field of with no tools using it as long as you have strong fingers and are good at tinkering.
I mean thats cool, and if your into the making aspect...but i have yet to see a "life hack" that wasnt harder that just things the normal way...like going to the store...
I made feeders like this about five years ago. Your work is very beautiful. But he makes a mistake. The mesh must be cut diagonally, then your cylinder will have even ends.
@@vidacrazy There are 4 hacks in the video, in order they are: #1 through wire bending jig for lure making #2 wire twist tool for lures or even for tying shark hooks to wire #3 plastic feeder attractant - for like fishing for carp or to attract fish to your actual bait #4 metal feeder attractant - for like fishing for carp or to attract fish to your actual bait
Well done. If youve got the tools, and the supplies and an hour to kill after the chores are done this is time well spent. most people sit around drinking alcohol and wasting their lives watching others play sports. Ypu are spending your time wisely .
These are carp fishing cage/swim feeders for pack baits. Instead of chumming with boiled feed corn or canned sweet corn, you make a pack bait and press it into the feeder. The pack bait slowly dissolves and falls apart and attracts the carp or catfish to the feeder. Your hook-bait is usually on a size 4 or 6 hook and within 3" to 4" from the feeder. You can find many different ways to rig your swim feeder to catch fish. I actually prefer to use spring feeders as the pack bait is pressed into and around the spring feeder, which allows the pack bait to slowly fall off the feeder and make a nice chum pile. The fish are attracted to the chum pile, and your hook-bait is in close proximity for the fish to find. I use a soured corn pack bait for channel catfish and a fresh corn pack bait for carp. The carp doesn't seem to like the soured corn pack bait as much, but the channel catfish loves it. You can put many different types of additives/flavorings in your pack bait to change the flavor profile. The flavorings I like to use are banana, strawberry, anise, tutti-frutti, and coffee. The number of available flavorings is almost endless. You can find many pack bait recipes on youtube and Google.
I like the ingenuity, but last time I checked fisherman are fisherman because we just don't like working all that hard. So, love to watch but I know its way above my pay grade.
