Thanks very much for taking this video! I have friends who made part of this walk and I wanted to have some idea of what they saw and experienced. Your video certainly gave me some idea of that! An extraordinary place!

it is one of the most informative video of the Cape Elizabeth track and the famous Arch. As for a short trip, is it possible to drive near the Arch with a 4WD and where should I walk from and how long would it takes? thanks mate

Hey mate, it is not possible to drive in from the main road as there is a boom gate at the carpark. Thanks for watching.

is the cape queeen elizabeth track just off the main road to adventure bay on bruny island or how do you access it?

The track starts on the bruny island main road just north of the airfield (which itself is north of The Neck).

Is the rookery track a 4wd track?

Good question! It's certainly wide enough to be one, although the only way to access it over private property. LISTmap also says it's closed at the moment. Maybe once upon a time it was a 4WD track, but I feel like it hasn't been used for that purpose anytime recently (I could be wrong of course haha).

@@LucasChamberlain So when you said you've been on it before, was you just walking it? It seems to me the Rookery Track that might have the church was the turnoff back down the beach just behind mars bluff as the hill there is called church hill. I've got building points on list and cant find any structures up there. Apparently there is a hut I think closer to where you are at 2:14 circa 400m as the crow flys from that intersection do you know anything about that?

I know there's the ruins of an old church a few km north of Mars Bluff and the beach. When I was in high school, my family and some others went along the rookery track, and yes, it was a bit of a circuit which started behind Mars Bluff and rejoined the main track where I pointed it out in this video. Yeah I have heard of a hut near the beach there, but actually haven't been there before.
