Well done, Leonard! I also rode it in 2024 for the sixth time! The most iconic, beautiful coastal ride in the World is the stunningly beautiful Cape Peninsula. 5 hours is a very credible time. You really must do it again!
Superb video and narrative. I always enjoy watching your you tube channel as it is so pro and in the south of England. I subscribe to Strava, and you mention a "play" feature. How does that work and how do I find it on Strava? I'm intrigued.
You need to have a premium membership and then click on the map page of one of your rides. Then click on the orange play button in the bottom right hand corner and it should play. You can also scroll around as it’s playing. Enjoy.
Great video of your ride. Congrats on your 1st Cape Cycle tour. I am almost 73 years old (6'3" and 120kgs) and have done 28 cycle tours. Don't let age or size prevent you from swinging a leg over a crossbar and get cycling. Leonard, I know you are English and pronouncing foreign words can be difficult but to help with pronouncing suiker bossie say it this way saker bossy. Congrats again and keep the rubber side down. I don't have the words to tell you how happy I am you realized a lifelong dream. Your excitement is still evident, as it should be! Congratulations, Leonardo! Had I started the tour with you, I'd still be out on the course trying to finish! You should be proud of your 5:11 finishing time. Well done, sir! I'm so pleased and happy for you!
It’s a super event isn’t it.. Very good summary of the course. I hope to do my third in 2025. You’re right in that the wind is such a factor but however it blows it’s got to be the best organised event that you can ride in the world…
@@jollygoodvelo I'll need to buy quite a few return legs from you as I don't know how long my right leg would last. Hopefully it will be 100% better by next year this time. I'll probably need the return legs anyway.
