Your whole series has been fantastic Josh. Relatable, interesting and informative. Thanks for putting these wraps at the finish to summarise for those who are thinking of doing similar. Appreciate your work
Great cape york trip you and Lance had as i was glue to watching and wait for each video to come out. I don't know if you told anyone or if you just kept it a secret but i notice it and you have now fixed it. Yes, your front brake line was installed to the outside of your fork leg for your cape trip! Ha Ha. Lucky you never damage it on a rock or a crash. Keep up the great work
Great wrap up josh with some valuable info for people dreaming of doing what you and Lance just done. Can’t wait till you come to my back yard - Tassie. I’ve got a big diary of rides for you.
Loved all the episodes mate 👍🏼 I just got home from 2 weeks up there. Now I have to edit close to 1TB of footage. One day I’ll work up the guts to do it on my Husky 501 😂
I haven't even got a riders licence watching your series has got you a new sub because the videos were well done good enough to get me making enquiries to obtain the licence and leave 4x4 behind to bloody expensive for everything especially breaking stuff. Thanks bro I'm definitely getting keen.
Great video, very insightful, thank you for sharing. You guys were absolutely awesome, the filming, the banter, how respectful of everything you were.. Plus the drone and great camera footage, a real pleasure to watch that series! Thanks to the Producer(s) Hope to see you riding together again soon on another adventure
Awesome trip! Very fun to see two guys I’ve been watching get together. Curious about what you thought of the D606s vs the Motoz tires. You were alluding to a follow up video on this and I’ve love to hear your opinion. On the fence between D606s, Rallz, or a motoz adventure rear with a dual venture front. Cheers!
Now that you have done the Cape york trip, do you think its as remote as everyone thinks. My understanding is there is plenty of fuel stops and always someone travelling on any of the tracks at any given time.
It is still remote, but yes you are right there is plenty of fuel stops. Plan them out and you’ll be fine. The longest we didn’t see anyone was probably the starcke track but I know bike tours go threw there as well. All other tracks we came across some vehicles.
G'day Josh. I'm from Melbourne and would be happy to ride around the High Country with you if you'd like. I've led a few rides there and keen to go again if I'm available. Let me know.
Oh man you want to come down to the high country and my back yard, would love to meet up along the ride somewhere. So now you’ve done the cape on the 400, do you think you could of done it on the t7 as well? Or where there a few tight spots it would struggle at?
Yea mate, high country is always a good time. I think I could of but it would of been hard work. I would of been absolutely spent handing the T7 on the starcke track that’s for sure
That was awesome adventure Josh. And I got to enjoy it from 2 different perspective. You have a nice flow in your video and your videos should have more views. I am subscribed to some Aussie Legend bikers and if you can hook up with them, that will give your channel a lot of exposure. Mainly I would Say MadTV and Adam Riemann - these are some of the best channels - hardcore but not necessarily adventure riders. You need exposure mate. and these guys can give you that. I am looking forward to your next adventure as well as adventure with Lance or any like minded guy. Go Josh Go.
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it. I watch bits and pieces from both those channels. Plenty of great videos. I started the year around 1000 subscribers so to be nearly at 10,000 I’m pretty happy with how it’s going. Just need some more time to put into more videos! 👍🏼
I also wonder, you spent $1700 on the top part of the trip. Is it worth it paying over 6k for that ride along company up there where your not on your bike so not worried about getting it home, three square meals a day and sleeping off the ground. But I think they’ve moved to crf300’s now so not as fun as the 400.
Each to there own mate, all up I’d be well under 6K for my trip. But there is heaps of other companies up there, DRZ 400s, gas gas bikes, Hondas. All sorts, definitely worth it if you want to just turn up and go
@@_JoshJB_yeah don’t have to worry about getting your bike to cairns to start either. But it is pricy, especially when I’m heading up from vic. 2600kms just to get to cairns. I think drive and trailer will be my best shot
