Yeah it almost hurts me to listen to his shit knowing he ain't around anymore, his flow, his lyricism, his message, his delivery, the fact that it didn't feel like he was rapping to us but rather just spittin some thoughts and some stories, the way it came off so natural and genuine, he wasn't just writing songs to get rich, he genuinely wanted to influence people and spread messages for the betterment of us as a society, to inspire progression, and how he could write shit as a teenager that guys in the game 10-20 years couldn't come up with or deliver as well as he did. Seems like the kid was too deep in his own head for his own good. You could even see a look in his eye sometimes while he was goin at it, like he wasn't even really there, like he had such bigger things goin on inside. Who knows where he is now and i'm not touchin the circumstances surrounding how he went out. I know some people on that Illuminati stuff, i know some people think those people are idiots. Personally, it probably is a bit far fetched in this case, but the way i see it is if you don't even consider that a slight possibility, how can you be that down with Steez? Seems like that was the main thing he wanted, to have people open their minds and recognize the cloaked corruptions all around them, to stop feeding power into the perpetual cycle of control held over the average citizen by corporate infrastructures, to be looking for what isn't easily perceived. I'm not saying they did it, trust me that's not my theory, but it absolutely does happen on a scale grander than many people could possibly fathom. I hope the Era continues his vision, but i don't know how dedicated the rest of them are when all that stardom and fame is comin their way. There's good talent in that group, but even listening to Dirty trying to explain the 47 sticker, it really didn't seem like he had a clue what he was talking about. Like it was just a cool band logo that represented Pro Era, "and, uh, you know, like, chakras, and stuff, uhhhh" maybe it's just me but i feel that a lot of what Steez stood for died with him, and i hope the Era are being genuine with why King Capital ain't out yet. I want to believe that "we wanna be more famous and get it more recognition" excuse, but i dunno man, just seems kinda off...... I'll end my shit here. I've read comments on these boards for a long time and never really said anything on the subject. It just kinda kept comin

kirby car Nailed it right on the head. I hear what you're saying man, Steez was definitely a rare talent that's unheard of in this age of digital slavery. Rapping was more to him than the music aspect, it represented his way of life. Much like you, I feel like a lot of the original intent behind the message sorta got lost after his unfortunate passing. At the very least, there was a noticeable change in the content they been putting out. Also, pushing back King Capital after setting several release dates ain't gonna work forever haha. As for the rumors surrounding his death, it's open to speculation but its probably just better to leave it be and hope he's at ease and found his inner peace. Besides, I heard it's beautiful on the 5th floor. Anyway I rambled on enough, Steez along with his message will live forever through his music and our thoughts. It's on us now to continue his legacy by spreading knowledge. Edit: Just wanted to add that Pro Era in and of itself is an extension of Steez's (mostly) creative energy. Beast Coast was also envisioned by the man himself. Just something to ponder on as to who was really the backbone keeping the movement in place.

Yeah man, bringing everyone together and starting that Beastcoast movement, seems like that was pretty much all Steez. It's what made him who he was, the belief that unity could be achieved, that progression could be made, that awareness and knowledge could be spread. His music turned me on to sacred geometry which is giving me deeper personal understanding which has helped harmonize myself with this existence a little better, which taught (or i should say is in the process of teaching) me to think and react more from the heart and less from the brain, and that was hammered home by one simple point: the heart is unified, the brain is polarizing. It's really the difference between coherence and impulsion, and something that believe it or not, "the man" or illuminati or powers that be (or whatever you wanna refer to it as, it's all kind of interchangeable) doesn't want you to understand the emphasis of. The few at the top have all the control while the masses are held hostage by things like salaries/minimum wage and corporate infrastructure, loans/debt, a dictated mainstream media where TRUE freedom of the press is either snuffed out or portrayed as lunacy, vapid materialism and empty self satisfaction, the need for glorification, this all thrives on impulsion and irrationality. The dual consciousness of the human mind as opposed to the unified consciousness of the human heart, that's what it's all about to me. It's a different way of trying to understand and embrace our roles here, and it's one that ultimately threatens the elitist establishments. Kind of like an interview when Steez was talking about how nothing really seemed to make him feel happiness in the day to day world, but just seeing something simple like a bee take pollen from a flower and knowing that is life, simple, right there, made him happy. He saw the beauty and the balance in something so simple as that and made him feel something, i instantly knew exactly what he was talking about. Started opening my mind to the basic fundamentals of life, and that's what Steez' message means to me. He thought the same way i already did about the world, he just showed me or guided me towards an actual way to help comprehend and process it into something i can then absorb and apply to my existence, he provided me some balance and consciousness. That's what it's all about, that's what needs to spread. Don't get me wrong, not saying i'm some enlightened genius or anything lol far from it, trust me. But just opening your mind to what life really is and what it SHOULD be, and obtaining knowledge and just being coherent and aware and receptive of what our bodies try to tell us, it's literally mind blowing. Thus concludes my 2nd unintended rant

And yes there is definitely an elaborate plot going in the world between the top elitists with the billions and whatnot. They would lead you to believe the answers you seek are found externally and would insist you turn your attention towards shit that don't even matter like celebrities, "tragic" events, the News, religion, greed, lust etc rather than looking internally through the mind. Most things society is exposed to today, whether it be through television or the Internet, is nothing but a distraction from seeing the bigger picture. Guaranteed if the masses catch on and start realizing what life is and what life could be, the infrastructure of these systems would fall. I truly believe the only way to achieve this, though, is like you mentioned - unity. It's a damn shame people are stuck in their lower root though..
