Life is too long to live a life of compromise and it’s far too short to wait for tomorrow to make things right. I remember sitting at my cubicle, sore from sitting all day and just staring hopelessly into excel spreadsheets. I felt terribly isolated and counting down the hours til I got off work was my pass time. I was bored. Then I became depressed. I decided, this would be the last time I ever felt those feelings. I promised myself, it would be the last time I ever clocked in my hours at a 9-5. So I handed in my resignation and I got to work. But this time for myself. The work was hard and the hours were long but nobody else was going to give me my dream life. So I kept my head down and I kept on going and through all this, I have been able to see the world with loved ones and make a crazy living doing it. Now, since I made the change, life has not been only rainbows. I’ve had my fair share of challenges. Upsets. Heartbreaks. But never again did I feel hopeless, bored or depressed. I love my life. Over the last year and a half, I have been continually developing my academy to teach people how I transitioned from corporate cog ⚙️ to today, being led by my passions 📸 and how they can too! Today, teaching has become one of those great passions of mine and I am so fortunate that I get to mentor a community of 1500 creators. Have you ever been to Turkey? Btw if you’re interested, I also have a travel channel with vlogs from London, Italy and Greece. Feel free to check it out ❤️🙌🏻
That looks absolutely amazing! Turkey has such a bad reputation and I don't know why. Myself and everybody that I know who has actually been to Turkey has loved it..The country is beautiful and the people are lovely. It's so underrated. Edit- I would never do those caves alone 👀 Haha
Because of some ottoman haters like arabs, armenians, greeks, serbians, frenchs, bulgars etc. Their way of harrassing to turks. So nobody shouldnt listen them when they talk about turks
Now you know how your bloody corrupted media is deceiving you. Your media and media bribed politicians constantly and nastily demonizing Turkey and for last two decades they even gone beyond and start terrorizing my country with thousands of fake news
Love these videos. Funny moment in this one. Christian: Your wondering what this has to do with history...Nevzat can tell you.. Nevzat: *About to speak Christian: * Tell the story himself 😁😂
Your captures are amazing man, have come such along way from a broke backpacker to a very successful content creator who loves travel with passion. Always a pleasure watching your videos Christian.
Wow its really amazing! It becomes very important for someone to learn something new. Keep up the good work. Very beautiful. Our heartfelt congratulations and thanks to you
Also imagine sleeping there! Sleeping on top 😍 Btw if you’re interested, I also have a travel channel with vlogs from London, Italy and Greece. Feel free to check it out ❤️🙌🏻
The cozy, comfortable Monastery Cave Hotel has a cave bar, cave restaurant and 13 cave rooms. The staff is super friendly and the location Mustafapasa (moose-tah-fah-pah-shah) is superb if you are looking to stay in an authentic Cappadocian town that’s somewhat removed from the tourist trail. With double en-suite double rooms going for €20 per person, the Monastery Cave Hotel is also one of the best cave hotel values.
the early settlers didn't go there just to escape Roman's like you keep saying...LATER, Christians arrived for that reason..they were built way before that
Me too! I really get castor phobic at caves to be honest😅😅 Btw if you’re interested, I also have a travel channel with vlogs from London, Italy and Greece. Feel free to check it out ❤️🙌🏻
@@VASIGTravelingLifeinLondon the narrow bit of the caves reminded us of the tunnels between North and South Korea. We were there a couple of years ago and it was quite a small space and very eerie. I'll be sure to check out your channel. We've got a travel channel as well. We've been to 40 countries so far with the aim of getting to 100. We got as far as Nicaragua this trip before the pandemic started and we decided to ride out the pandemic in Nicaragua.
Indeed! A magical, historical, amazing place in Turkey. Thanks God, I Have visited there. Underground cities in Cappadocia and there are many more nice places to explore there. Stay safe🙏
I know exactly what you mean about living for today. I have been working and travelling around Australia for almost 9 years and have totally loved it! If I could just remove working from the equation 😂 Love your productions, they are always incredibly inspiring and helpful 🙏
@@RyanFila Thanks Ryan, that is impossible to answer. Australia is huge and as a result it is extremely diverse. Our rainforests and beaches are stunning, oh and mountains 🤩 I love to be amongst nature. The 2 best places I have worked at (so far) would be Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia and Eco Beach Resort near Broome in Western Australia ✌🙏
@@adventurewithbernie that’s awesome! I lived and traveled in a van there for about ten months, mostly on the East coast. I never for to the West, but maybe someday! Enjoy your time out there mate! Much love from Colorado, USA!
Wow that hotel looks amazing. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to the Presidential suite at Anatolian Cave Hotel which is another gorgeous place to stay. Can't wait to go back to Cappadocia soon!
Have you ever been to cappadocia? Btw if you’re interested, I also have a travel channel with vlogs from London, Italy and Greece. Feel free to check it out ❤️🙌🏻
I was in Cappadocia in January last year. We went to Derinkuyu underground city as part of our tour. Just as we started to go through the first of many tunnels, my panic attack began and i was forced to return back to the entrance while the rest of my tour group continued.
I used to Dream of these places as I got lost in the pages of Condè Nast Traveler... [You] make it real for me - can't wait to experience Cappadocia 🥂 Kudos, Team Lost LeBlanc!
Great hike to an amazing location up there. Haven't yet decided where to stay in Cappadocia but the Museum hotel is for sure one of the best! Planning 4 nights to experience the region as much as possible but if you recommend to stay one or two more nights for the ultimate experience then I'll do so 😉. Great video! 👍
Wooow!!! OmG I'm so amazed by all the history that you know about this amazing place. That's why I love your channel. You don't only show were you are, but also you tell us the history behind it so yeah LOVE!!! #lca ❤🌸
I also his channel, this video is so informative, totally love it how informative the videos are! Btw if you’re interested, I also have a travel channel with vlogs from London, Italy and Greece. Feel free to check it out ❤️🙌🏻
Hello, are there a lot of cats in Cappadocia? I have a severe phobia of them and was wondering, since I heard that they’re everywhere in Turkey. I saw quite a few in your Istanbul vlog, but was wondering if Cappadocia is as heavily populated with them.
As always... a storyteller par excellence 💯 There are many beautiful places, but the way you present them, is what makes each place gets into people's bucket list.
Your videos are always informative & very interesting and exciting . I love this video and this place. I think they used to live there to hide from Romans. I could be wrong. OMG so beautiful . Yes i am also in love with Cappadocia. Thank you.
This was amazing and eye opening. Thank you! Glad Ruby tagged along and surprised Lexie didn't , especially because of her thirst for knowledge and new experiences.
@@lostleblanc of course she did :) what is your next destination? have you been to romania? sibiu, brasov and sighisoara are very beautiful cities t visit! cheers :)
I am so passionate about photography, and I love and watch all of your videos! I would love to have the opportunity to join you on a trip and shadow you to learn more! I’m currently working a dead end 9-5 job and I just want to take that leap to do something more and what I love
Thank you for showcasing some amazing quality videos of Turkey. I live in the USA and I always show your new uploads to my Turkish family and they enjoy it and reminisce about their country. Thank you!
I visited Cappadocia last year and filmed it. It was magical and so worth it. if anybody interested please check it out and give me your feedback (turn subtitle on).
Hey man. I found you here in Turkey the same time I got here a week ago. I will be here for 3 months and curious to know if you have a Turkey guide like you have for the other countries???
Dude I was thinking it was cold there and here your sleeping in a tent HA! Was 23 degrees in Goreme 3 days ago. I was cold in a hoodie and a jacket there just walking around. But your from Canada Eh and I am from Minnesota so would that make any difference?
Haha when you’re from the north your accustomed to cold. I went to college in Minot ND and spent several years growing up in Anoka county! Much love to another Minnesotan!
You mentioned ‘Arabic culture’ when referring to the shisha. Turkey is not Arab or Arabic in any shape or form whatsoever. This often causes a lot of misunderstandings about Turkey culturally. Shisha is more of an eastern practice. Not necessarily Arabic because we are definitely not Arabic. Neither is our culture.
Hey Bro, I am your huge fan, I want to meet you desperately. but fortunately, I don't have that much money. so if you are willing to come to Bangladesh that's a huge opportunity for me. plz, come to Bangladesh to show the world our culture. Love from BANGLADESH 🇧🇩.
Turkey is N O T an Arabic country. Your videos about Turkey annoy me incredibly as a Turkish person. You obviously just read random things from internet and make such videos about people’s country. 1. These caves are almost prehistoric. Long before Christians native Anatolians built these caves to hide from enemies. The region has many underground cities. Turkey isone of the places where civilisation began and life in caves dates much much back than Christianity. Those caves are so perfectly built, Christians used them centuries later. Today Turkey still use them as hotels, wine keeping, product stocking, water collecting et cetera. 2. Turkey is N O T an Arabic country. It’s very very ignorant of you to say this. It’s so dumb. It’s like Canadians and Mexicans having the same culture because they’re both in North America and they’re both Christian. To make it even dumber, it’s like Ethiophians and Russians having the same culture because they’re both Christian. 3. Menemen is made with tomatoes, pepper and eggs. Shakshuka is made with minced meat and aubergines. I don’t know how these can be similar? You misinform your followers. You’re not worthy of all these subscribers and watches. I don’t know what other nonsense you told in the rest of the video because I won’t watch any more. Incredible. One should officially sue you for misrepresenting us this way.
The underground caves were built about 12 thousand years ago during a mini ice age. The local people lived in the caves to survive the brutal conditions. Later on, Christians lived there to hide from the Romans to escape prosecution. Unlike what you said, they actually lived in those caves.
Hey 1 i like in this place sea and river because i love water 2 i like cave in the mountain 3 i like view from high mountain 1 i don't like when you smoke shisha because your vlogs watch children 2 i do not like this fact only you talk. 1 why cappadocia? And why not another city 1 in your place i walk lots of becausd i like walk
Just a question, did the cave smell weird inside? Like fresh paint? I stayed at a cave hotel a short while back and it smelled like that. Maybe it was part of the old stone, idk.
Really nice video but I don't like your thumbnail... you can try put photo something like the inside from the cave I like the bedroom for Thumbnail... you are definitely gonna take more of View with this.
it is not shakshuka, becasue he has no idea what the world calls shakshuka. it is the same thing. but, in turkey, shakshuka is another veggie dish without eggs.
Totally enamored & living vicariously through you... for now! Can you detail a bit about the "services lacking"? Seasonal or pandemic related? #travelmercies!✔
