The Torta Caprese who does not know it, is a classic dessert of the Italian pastry shop in the Campania region of the island of Capri. It is a Cake made with ALMONDS and DARK CHOCOLATE, therefore without Flour and without Yeast, also suitable for Celiacs!
It's absolutely good, it melts in your mouth, it's not dry and the mix of almonds and chocolate makes it unique!
🛑 I show you how with the SAME CAKE you can make 2 cakes for 2 different occasions!
Simple, in my opinion already beautiful (I love simple things) or with a simple decoration (as you will see in the video) we can transform it into a BIRTHDAY CAKE!
‼️ TIP:
I flavored the eggs with vanilla but a few drops of almond extract or flavoring are also fine (it will enhance the almond flavor even more)
‼️ Being a compound without yeast, I advise you to be careful when incorporating the egg whites not to disassemble them (this is what will give the dough strength to grow in the oven) So if you are not sure or you see the dough not so well assembled, I recommend to add 1 teaspoon of baking powder!

175° Static - 170° Ventilated for about 30-25 minutes (adjust by doing the toothpick test)
📝 INGREDIENTS:
*4 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
*140 g of sugar
*140 g of butter
*200 g of almond flour
*250 g of dark chocolate
*Vanilla extract or Aroma
almonds
*Powdered sugar
📝To decorate:
*Dark spreadable chocolate cream (or Nutella)
*Candied cherries
*Thin almonds
