"Wait a minute... T-The defence mainframe?" For a genius, Baltar took a lot of time to realize what were the ramifications of Caprica Six being a Cylon.
He seems to be channeling the histronic presentation of Dr Smith from the original Lost in Space. A genious but flighty and self-absorbed to the extreme.
I love this scene, and not just because Tricia Helfer looks sexier here than anywhere else. It's a great dramatic scene that's beautifully acted and written, too.
And to those people who still insist that Baltar was not a traitor to the 12 colonies, this scene brings home the truth that he was responsible for allowing the Cylons to access the very defenses that might have saved many lives.
Is it a treason when you have no idea you are helping the enemy? Sure, he did fuck up beyond belief, but in his mind he did not give access to a Cylon, he gave it to a human because at that point, nobody knew Cylons looked like humans.
@Michelle Who said he´s innocent? He´s clearly guilty of letting Cylons in, but he didn´t know Caprica Six was a Cylon, so how can he be a traitor when he did not even know she was the enemy? You can´t commit treason by accident.
@@filipbatora7523 I mean, think about what he gave her. Even if she wasn't a Cylon, there was a very good chance that someone was gonna get hurt because of that information.
@@rosesweetcharlotte I believe he thought she was from some rival company (I think he stated that somewhere) and wanted to see the room. Correct me if I am wrong, but he didn´t give her copy of the program, he just let her in to see the computers and she downloaded it without his knowledge.
