I have a seven planet capricorn stellium in the 4th, including both luminaries and all personal planets. I am the capricorniest capricorn that ever capricorned, and I didn’t feel like a capricorn at all until the Saturn transit through the sign a couple years ago, and even then not fully until my saturn return started in Aquarius. Something about that somehow just feels even more capricorny 😂
Ahaha Woa I have 6 planets in Capricorn. You win haha 😅 don’t feel like a typical Capricorn either. I’m currently going through Saturn return so let’s see 😇
I have sun ,moon and rising, stationed Mercury 27 plus fortune. Born on New Years Day. It was Pluto that started the blast of change that brought me to astrology! Yay Thanks Chris for this talk.
I love that you preface each episode of this series with "2 hour deep dive" and each one has been more like a 3 1/2 or 4 hour deep dive. Thank you for including so much information, these are a delightful treat.
Capricorns are like diamonds. They go through the worst pressure (and pain), but they can be extremely resilient and builders of things that are long lasting and that seem impossible to be done by some people.
I am a firm believer that background sounds are meaningful, especially on podcasts. Whenever I hear a guest apologizing for their dog barking, I think: the dog is underlining whatever you are saying right now. Similarly, the construction sounds that one of tge guests apologizes for is SO CAPRICORN, right as you were discussing hard work and the quarry symbolism of this sign! 🤣 👏🏼🔨🪚
One note is that I’m surprised you all didn’t mention is MLK Jr being a Capricorn sun. The last speech he gave before he was assassinated was about how he had been to the mountain top and saw the promise land and he wasn’t sure if he could go there with his people. It really reminded me of everything you all spoke about the creation of foundations for others to stand on and building mountains to last for generations. 🖤
@@lisashufelt9996 Jah & Jahes love. JFK is a Gemini. I don't know what his Moon and Ascendant are though. And, JFK Jr and his sister are both Sagitraian. Blessed love. #1804 #Ayiti
LOL! Leave it to a Capricorn to chuckle while saying "We're all going to die". Being a double Capricorn I sometimes upset people w/ such direct truth. I find facts & truth very refreshing & stable.
I have to admit I'm a little disappointed he didn't have a Capricorn sun on to share their insights. For every other sign in the series, he interviewed someone with their sun in that sign.
Thank you for enlightening me on the distance, seriousness and sadness of my Capricorn family members. So many questions answered. I do enjoy seeing them getting younger and lightening up as they age!🤩
I'm only 27 minutes into this and I'm loving it!!! Great energy bouncing back and forth. And loads of great info and images already. I am a Capricorn and what I've learnt about daydreaming vs. doing is: daydream a lot, and then start doing when you feel excitement (don't wait for all conditions to be perfect!). When you finally start doing, do easily and allow others to help out. Magic can happen, as you know, and it's real. Love to all! 💖
@@jjones2322 Thank you for your comment! I totally forgot about this and when I read my own comment again, I realized that this is exactly what I need to do right now! :) Cheers, Cappy.
Capricorn sun & Neptune, no other earth placements. I’m always surprised when people are proud of their Capricorn stellium, because in my world as a Capricorn sun - everyone seems to hate us & only speak negatively of us. What I hear most often is egotistical, cold, boring, stuck-up, etc. I have a 4 planet Aquarius stellium in my 8th house, which I love. I love Aquarius energy. I’ve been told, even by Capricorns, that I’m the most friendly and outgoing Cap they’ve met lol. But with close and intimate relationships - water signs need stay far away. The Aquarius energy supporting my Capricorn sun makes me very emotionally detached. People always think there’s a hidden sensitive, cuddly bear in me, but there really isn’t. I love and fight for the world at large - the stuff that really hurts me are large scale things that hurt humanity and Mother Earth. Interpersonal stuff and people’s day to day suffering… it’s hard for me to be sensitive when I see much larger issues happening in the world. So it’s hard for me to have relationships with people who expect a lot of emotional depth.
27:21 YESSSSSS!!!! always felt like Capricorn was Stone Mountain (stone, metals, gemstones) versus Virgo’s field of herbs in the forest (medicine and building wood) and Taurus’ well tended fields (food and drink 🍷 ).
Gemin& Capricorn placements “every new interest i take on, i must master it” is so relatable. When I try something new, I have to do it the “right way” and master it by asking a million question to someone who knows how to actually do it.
3:04:40 but also remember the anticia between Capricorn and Sagittarius. Like in a very real way, the extroverted jovially and the reserved dour pessimism are two sides of the same coin. They’re both Momento Mori. It’s just one is eat drink and be merry for tomorrow you may die.
I enjoyed the intelligence of the guest astrologers and that they gave many incites to Capricorn as well as other zodiac signs, also they were able not to take themselves too seriously which gave me giggles. I have Moon in Cap and my son a stellium in Cap. Cap is like “ don’t get too excited or expect too much. You might get eaten by a lion on the way to the supermarket or a meteorite might hit your house in the middle of decorating or you might find all the Cancerians are getting all the hugs at the party again “ lol 😂
@@backtofacts Yes I think Capricorn is very cautious of its environment. Saturn says “ I am the Lord of Time therefore the lord of death 💀, anything could happen at any time 🕰️ “ lol 😂
anyone else observe the cappy/saturn symbols in Madeline's background? ie. the hour glass (father time) and the picture of the skull (bones) Aqua rising here with Saturn in Pisces. Thank you for this deep dive
This is such a funny episode! 😄 You three get along sooo well with each other. I would love to hear more in this constellation 😍 Thank you Chris, Diana and Madeline! 🌟
Wonderful podcast and I'm sorry to nitpick. But as for the example of the cheap boyfriend: is that really Cap behavior? I've never known a Capricorn sun to be cheap with loved ones at key times like holidays or birthdays. I think the material provider side of Cap manifests more as generosity, ie "You can feel safer because you have me and I will provide." In fact, giving gifts is probably one of the more common and easier love languages for this sign.
Chris you are such an amazing person! Thank you for the take back, sir. My daughter looked at me and opened her eyes so wide. I was like - he must not get visited because he stopped believing. Like in Guardians - oh lawd, Quick save on my part. lol But your take back certainly helped.
The archetype of Capricorn is mentioned here as a father but Capricorn has a feminine energy. I always find it difficult to reconcile these two opposing concepts. But if I think about Capricorn as strict grandma it makes sense 😊
I’m a Capricorn with both my mother and mother as capricorns and I can tell you that they were extremely strict, honest and hardworking, specially my mother who lived her entire life handling responsibility and sacrificing her love life of any other source of pleasure. My father was a drunk and died when I was 11, leaving my mom to raise 8 kids all alone in a very dangerous place and with no money or schooling. But despite all that, my mother still managed to save money to buy a house for us to live in and after we grew up and left, that house became her source of income as she divided it into 4 small studios and rent them out now that she no longer works as a maid. All three of us came for poverty and had a tough upbringing, but me and my mom both built a life for the future of our financial security. I feel like capricorns have a bit of Pluto influence as well as Saturn because we suffer a lot, but still manage to come out stronger.
@@lillithmoon2935 My grandpa was a capricorn sun (from mothers side) and my grandma from mothers side was libra sun and I have saturn in Libra. I think it works both ways:-) Your story is trully capricornian. I sometimes wonder were my procrestination comes from adn why Icant keep money. Maybe beacuse of sagg moon in 12th house and venus in aries. am 40y old and I whish I had created that security form my self, but...a long way from that even though I am craving it.
@XIII • EGO DEATH Capricorn is a sign of rules, regulations, discipline, laws and structures. It's ruled by Saturn. Where is feminine here from?........
Sun, moon, mars, mercury and south node in Cap in the 7th house. I thought that was a lot but loads of even more Capricorn folks here! Wish I could meet you all and compare notes!
I like the idea that Capricorn being feminine understands that procedures and managing people and communities needs structure. And that Capricorn across from cancer is the result of good foundations and nourishment. I absolutely love these sessions so thank you for making astrology so fun ❤🎉
Thank you so much for this, Cap Sun Mercury Venus and MC here, I love astrology because it so helps me not to feel out of control as a Cap we can really shoulder the storm, but so good to know that it will pass….however Pluto has made it an f’ing long storm, and this year I enter my Second Saturn return. My first return was so brutal I am genuinely scared of this one but trying not to be 😬
One of my favorite episodes. I find myself relating quite a bit to Capricorn despite having only my south node, my IC, and BML in Capricorn. It must be my Saturn in Libra in the first house conjunct my AC.
Being born on a full moon in Capricorn is a part of me that I'm really connected to. I feel like a Capricorn more so than anything else when it comes down to it. This episode made me feel so seen and gave me new insights I hadn't associated with my Capricorn moon before. The part about feeling responsible for everyone and everything from a young age - that's it. When we let go of that we are liberated from that prison we had put ourselves in.
Saturn - Time, Elderly, Reality check, Sacrifice, Narrow Path to the peak, dedicated, achievement, mines, quarry, Stingy, pride in suffering/austerity, minimalism, high standards, earning, allergic to entitlement, Mastery, frugal 1:17:00 I’m not going to accept criticism from someone who’s doing worst than me 😂 1:29:10 Aquarius rising - forced into maturity
@49:53 haha. People either love or hate this about me. My mom is a Libra and she hates how critical I am of everything. She sees it as negativity and a Debby downer. My boyfriend is a Gemini and he loves that quality about me, which is lucky to me. He thinks it’s hilarious and he genuinely respects my perspectives. Everywhere we go, I’m like “that could be changed to this so it’s more efficient” “they should have put this in here with this so it would taste better” “the architecture could be better built in this way so that this place was more efficient” etc… I’m always noticing and pointing out how things could improve or become more efficient. I’ve started to realize recently that I should find a career path that allows me to do this. I’m a natural at it!
I’ve noticed Capricorn are able to restrict or deprive or constraint themselves to the bare minimum for prolonged period of time if necessary in order to achieve what they want.
The tiny Tupperware!!! YES!🤣 (And the: "Can I get a coupon?") You guys were right on about so many things. I found myself laughing as I identified with your observations. People sometimes forget what a wicked sense of humor Caps have - dry and quick. I love chatting with another Capricorn because we crack each other up. Serious, all business at times, making do, discounts on the highest quality, but salt of the earth, rock solid, dependable. Thanks for a thorough look at the sign - the plus and the "not as plus".
Cap is like Aries because they also like to "do it themselves" Cap is like Taurus because they also work hard and like the way that is tried and true. Cap is like a Gemini because they are also resourceful and "tell it how it is" Cap is like a cancer because they both carry the burdens of the family. Cancer the emotional burden and Capricorn the physical burden of providing and also by means of being the scapegoat sometimes. Cap is like Leo because they are also bossy Cap is like Virgo because they are also hard on themselves and hold themselves to extremely high expectations Cap is like Libra because they are also a people pleaser, in the business environment, that is, when they want to get ahead Cap is like Scorpio because they also keep their cards close and don't like to tell their business. Cap is like Sagittarius because they also think THEY have the right answer and knows what's best Cap is like Aquarius because they also plan for the future Cap is like Pisces because they also escape... from their feelings🤣 ***Every sign is like every other, so anytime one sign is critical of another its really critical of itself***
Namaste, Chris and ladies. amazing work all 3 of you, the insights and expressions on a new modern level. Capricorn my 2house. I listen to each word, Thank you again. awaiting the next.
Capricorn moon and my late father was a Capricorn sun sign, we didn't get on until later in his life, just like before he passed away, so this will be interesting. He worked hard, played hard and died hard, he was extremely hard working and never gave up, very courageous, witty, dry, sarcastic...and into everything!
Such a great video articulated clearly on complex concepts - thank you team :) I resonated with a lot of the Capricornian keywords and you've helped me understand myself even more deeply (for example why my Venus Sagi/intuitive, wild, free and heart-driven voice conflicts with my Sun and stellium in Capi at times)!
hey fellas! Im a capricorn sun, gemini rising- its my birthday tomorrow 😌 to be earth & air, or saturn & mercury at the same time is a lil weird o.0 I do adore saturn, but Im happy to also have mercury to lightening a lot of things up, if you feel me... things/life has been tough the past few years, it still is actually. so Im taking the current planetary quality as a big chance to set things up👌 time is running, life is short- but night is so lovely dark❤ Ive got saturn, jupiter & pluto at the 5th house... so.......
My dudes…as a Capricorn may I say, im tired of everyone making caps sound like downers. I just met a sag and it’s like ooo yes I like talking theory with them but hell if you can’t actually materialize anything out of these dreams then you aren’t really a free stallion. You are just sitting there blabbing like a stoned person, right? I love exploring ideas absolutely but in the end I need actual assistance/answers practical solutions.
Too much, I have always been the mother and the father. I have always given my children knowledge to survive while making sure they remain children during their childhood. My own personal life experiences with cancer and family have been love then detach. More like nurture disfunction and disregard what is not close to you . The Capricorn love's nice things but will part with them to help others.
I love the witty, snippy Capricorn banter happening between Diana and Madeline in this episode. I got so many good new archetypes and descriptors for the sign in this episode! Love it! Thank you!
Thank you soo much for bringing up the stereotyping!! Im a cap sun (scorpio rising aries moon, venus in sag in the second house and a life path #5) So such eye-rolling as readers etc constantly associate me with the corporate world/ corporate structures- im a Capricorn mystic.
You two ladies are so fuuny talking about sagg and gemini. As someone who has moon in sagg and mercury in gemini as a Capp rising, I feel ya. hahahaha. You made me laugh soooo much in this part of the show. Love the butterfly comentary. hahahaha
Never met a mountain I didn't love climbing :-) Capricorn sun, but also Mars and Mercury in Capricorn in the 11th. Pisces rising and Leo moon. I think it's the perfect blend for success--at least it has served me well. Interesting discussion about Capricorns being negative. I can clearly see what won't work or what is wrong with something, but that's a positive to me. I know where to not waste my time or find a way to fix what's wrong. I am a really good copy editor :-)
I also waited till Hamilton was “free” (on Disney+) to watch it and was blown away. Not only is Hamilton himself a cap stellium, but Lin Manuel Miranda is a cap sun, moon and mercury! As a cap new moon baby myself (+ 4 other planets), I felt so seen. Also lovely episode!! Resonated so much.
This series on astrological signs is very good. I love it. I also have Mars in Capricorne in the 1st whole sign house and I can strongly feel my Capricorne side. Plus, my Saturn is also exalted in Libra, forming a beautiful exalted square with my Mars. Thank you Chris, Diana and Madeline for this episode.
the three earth signs i see as taurus is the soil and the land that's feminine and fertile, virgo is the fauna that's mutable and ever changing, and capricorn is metals and precious stones made from pressure over time and holds value
Just wanting to point out something I’ve always noticed in Astrology and since you all didn’t mention it, I would: that the signs that sit next to each other often have an aversion towards one another. @Diana Rose mentioned Capricorn with Sagittarius @3:04 Think of any example you wish. Agreed?
Diana and Madeline have great chemistry, they had me laughing along with them 😆 thanks for another wonderful episode and I'm looking forward to the Aquarius installment!
Haha, this episode on Capricorn took me the longest to get through and there was so much valuable knowledge . One of my sisters is a Cap Sun. just thinking about that placement in relation to the rest of the family provided many insights. And I agree re the Honeycomb Collective almanac. My favorite artist in that group is Maya N., and this is the third almanac I’ve purchased. My partner has given a couple to his friends. Even if they can’t read it themselves, it makes for a very impressive and a gift that’s not not too expensive for everything that can be included.
Thanks for letting us know about the astro almanacs by Honeycomb. I just checked them out and they look fantastic. I ordered mine and look forward to using it!
Thank you for another insightful video!! I'm Cap sun and this really hit home on so many things. Down to the old soul familial responsibilities as a kid, and even aging backwards! People thought I was 18 or older when I was 12, and now mid 30s and people think I'm younger. Astrology is amazing and blows my mind 🤯
Gold in the earth and vast riches from things beneath the ground is Pluto's realm. Gold being put to use, such as being used in electrical components is more Capricorn. "I use" is Capricorn. Practical application is Capricorn.
Oh dang!! So true! I have always thought I need financial security for myself only because I have children and that if not for them I would live the barest existence just to be careful to not be attached! Yes!
Awesome podcast. I have natal Saturn in Pisces with Capricorn in 10th & 11th houses. Every 20 years Saturn kicks my ass for 8 years consecutively. It's brutal. Thankfully, I'm about to enter into my second Saturn RX, which means only 2 1/2 more years before I feel a MASSIVE sigh of release and subsequent relief. During these transits I experience massive internal & external transformation as my Sag moon, Aries Sun, Aries in 1st house and Mars in Aries transform under great pressures to create structures and give form to all that is envisioned in the stellium of 5 planets/asteroids I have in Pisces. The constant successive whipping of Saturn affirms Aries as the Eternal Child in, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger (in body/mind/spirit)" Thanks to Saturn & Capricorn I'm becoming a Ninja Warrior of Change & Transformation.
it really is brutal ( I sometimes feel it is a never ending kicking in the ass) :-) had my saturn return in LIbra (passing over mars and pluto too, opposing venus(, then going over moon in sagg opposing mercury, then going over my ascedent squaring my venus, then now in Aqua squaring my Jupiter MC scorpio and taurus Sun, Chiron and Ic and progressed venus and moon When it will enter pisces it will square my natal moon and progressed moon, when it will enter Aries it will conjunct my venus, oppose my mars saturn pluto in libra and square my ASC, when it goes to Taurus it will conjunct my sun, Ic , Chiron and when it ingresses to gemini it will conjunct my mercury and oppose my moon uranus in sagg. I am tired from typing it.😭
Really enjoyed this episode...however...I take issue with your dissing of butterflies. Don't you know how much effort it took them to finally earn their wings? The pain, solitude and magic of metamorphosis? Talk about your Saturn cycles! A valuable lesson there for you :)
I feel like people use innocence as an excuse to do more harm than good. Maybe it's my Capricorn moon in 5th working with My 9th and 10th house stelliums but I believe there's a way to give children the wisdom to be resilient, balanced early and not harsh trauma. Most adults w)kids would probably think I'm silly or avoid this but everything started with an idea
Capricorn's can experience pleasure, we aren't all work and no play, we will seek it out. The seagoat which the glyph for Capricorn represents is from the myth of Pan.
Love it, thanks! Also, as a Cap Sun, Mercury, Venus, Nept in the 6th, I think I'm going to save the part about the "compliments" to not give to capricorns and handle it to all my family, friends&co. The burn out is real!
Well, aren't you guys fun....death & mayhem! Capricorn is also sun & , light & solidity!. Yes, I am a strong Capricorn sun sign. My moon is in Aquarius.
Liked text you sent...Capricorn is tough...the funny part was how this sight says..."but we're all going to die...so what does it matter...anyway.. Lol
Been waiting for this episode! I have sun, moon, mercury, Lilith, south node and MC in this beautiful sign that has taught me so much about myself! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I love how Diana and Madeline just had fun with their Capri inside jokes, lol. This is one of the signs that I've enjoyed the most, I thought it was going to have a more solemn tone to it, but they just had fun, and it had a nice flow. Loved their insights. Cheers from México!
@42:49 This section about not being part of the problem, recycling, restricting, consolidating, it feeling sinful etc, had been such a massive personal mantra since I was young. It relates heavily to the perception of Capricorns having a lot of money. It's not that they're necessarily rich, it's that they don't spend it frivolously and may inevitably have more as a result.
Yes I have arthritis in knees and spine. Was a skater when young. My teeth have been a problem for life. Skin problems now. Sun and moon in capricorn in 10th house. Jupter rising.
