My Beautiful Venus is in Gemini 5th house🌞! She does enjoy being there 🌟 Jupiter is with as well! My Sun in Leo 7th! I do follow the Moon✨🌟 Thank you for a lovely podcast!🌻
Venus is the ruler of my ascendant (Libra rising). Conjunct MC in the 10th, opposite Saturn in Cap conjunct IC in the 4th. Musician, can't release music due to unbelievable self-imposed standards.
Taurus moon, NN Taurus, Libra sun, Venus in Scorpio in the 9th house - been told this brings kindness but Stellium in Scorpio has been brought painful, big transformational changes - hoping to ease further into my NN Taurus Venus empress energy in the next chapters of my life...
Venus' rulership over Libra and Saturn's exaltation there reminds me so much of the medieval "ars moriendi" or "ars bene moriendi" - the art of good, or beautiful dying. Libra season is when nature starts preparing for winter, it's the beginnings of decay (Saturn). Nature laughs in flowers, but it weeps and mourns in falling leaves. And it's so much in the nature of Venus to find beauty and grace even there.
@@lindaholman2630 Did you know? Now! You can access previously recorded videos *multiple times*! You can even enjoy them however you'd like 😮 Truly amazing, this RU-vid thing. 🙄😴
I love the way she explains the archetype of Venus and her particularity when it comes to word choice. She even mentioned Ọṣun and referred to her, correctly, as an òrìṣà. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have just discovered Becca’s work and she is so beautiful and brilliant. What a beautiful way to learn the archetype of Venus. Thank you Chris for picking Becca for teaching us about Venus. Thank you Becca for all your work, such a gift.
I discovered your channel only recently. I am amazed by your content, it has been very helpful. You're a great teacher, thanks a lot. Look forward to reading your book. Greetings from Brazil! PS: This girl has such a wonderful and mellifluous voice!
Wow! you brought in Venus herself for the talk. She (Venus) has such a melodious voice and poetic expression, so fitting. So great to hear all the other creative expressions of Venus too. So much appreciation to you both. Star Blessings Vx
the lungs, gives presence to singing, speech of beautiful words, harmony of singing, to musical instruments. that is what struck me as you were discussing
Repeating myself but I so appreciate the captioning \o/ I just took note of tiny mistakes: At 3:00:08, Becca says "--in my chart.", not "--in my trine." At 3:02:20, she says "Aspect it to something!" I think, not "Aspected to something!" (I might have misheard, but it seems to make more sense with the first possibility). At 3:04:27, "Paulus Alexandrinus" got transcribed as "policy Alexandrina" At 3:05:35, Becca says "Venusian", not "Venetian" and then a few seconds later, "wanting to be Freyja" instead of "wanting to be frail"
I am so grateful for this content and this youtube channel. It's difficult to find good quality and free astrology stuff on the internet, especially if you're a total beginner. I really appreciate that you're always trying to explain everything in the simplest terms possible. Looking forward to watching this video and finding out more about the archetype of Venus. I recently watched the episode with Arielle Guttman, where she talked about the concept of Venus Star Point, which was very interesting, but at the same time a bit confusing for me. My Venus is in Scorpio and combust the Sun (and it's house placement doesn't help, as well).
My Venus is also combust, I don't know if I have Venus as Morning Star or not, as it has not yet crossed the Asc. but it is in 1st house rising before the Sun.
Love this episode. Thank you so much for this thorough discussion. Becca is a wonderful guest and I'd be happy to see her more. Personal fact that no one asked for, my name "Danika"(not my spelling but closest comparison) means morning star/venus.
Just for clarification, the morning star of Venus is the warrior. When we interpret this in a native's chart, we might consider, as one expression of the archetype, that this placement denotes a tendency for the native's values to be readily seen---they herald the Sun, leading and setting before the Sun. This would be true for any planets that reach the Western horizon prior to the Sun. The evening star, setting after the Sun, is more receptive/reflective, so the native's values may be something we learn on closer, longer contact. Also, Aphrodite was seen to be born on the Greek island of Kythera (where she emerged from the foam of the sea and the island came to be), associated with "bringing into form", perhaps leading to our association of Venus with the beauty of form and design and with Saturn being exalted in Libra. Thank you Chris, for your generous, excellent gifts of scholarship and interview skills, for sharing them with us. We're so blessed to have your channel as resource.
This is an interesting take on the archetypes. I have a stellium of Venus, Sun, Saturn, Mercury, Chiron and North Node in Aries in the 8th house! I am wondering if you would agree that Venus in my chart would be considered the morning star warrior archetype you described? Some have told me my Sun would over take Venus energy..especially because of being in sign of Aries and Scorpio house...both suppose to be antithesis.
@@discerninglight1998 If the Sun is at 13 degrees and Venus at 22, then the Sun rose first. Look at the horizon in your chart and imagine each planet sitting on it in turn and moving clockwise (rising). This is "primary motion". The Sun will make its way around the chart to the Western horizon where it sets before Venus gets there. This means your Venus is an evening star. In your chart teasing out all the planets within the stellium of Aries can be complicated. Notice whether Saturn and Mercury are evening stars as well.
your moniker "Discerning Light" suggests that you're using much of that energy to illuminate the often dark matters of the 8th house, something Virgo rising might want to do, especially with Virgo/1st house's dispositor in the 8th (Mercury in Aries). Just keep in mind that whatever sign and house Mars is in disposits the stellium in Aries in the 8th.
@@sheilaeisele8490 Thanks for the replys, I am sorting the archetypes out in my chart and this helps out! North Node 00, Chiron 03, Mercury 06 (so Mercury before the Sun) Venus 22, Saturn 26 (after the Sun). The time of the day being 3:20pm, I would imagine the Sun does over power.
As a Venus Trine Saturn (in a night chart) the comments were very comforting about the aspect. It's the only aspect my Venus makes. (Saturn is tangled up in a lot of hot mess - mainly squares). It does bring a lot of pain :/ Saturn is not fun, especially when it comes to love. I am attracted to and have always dated older people than me. :) Ps. Also have a Libra rising. I sing and people love my singing and speaking voice in general. They say it is very sweet ;)
Yes, I too have this Venus in Aries(detriment) sextile Saturn in Aquirius also in a night chart. Learning to love myself , embracing my need to be alone. Its a process but as time goes on it gets alot better :)
In reference to Venus ruling the Lungs- in Chinese Medicine and Five Element theory, (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth,Metal), Lungs belong to the element of Metal, which is also associated with the color white…many associations between Metal element and Venusian refinement, and love of cleanliness too. Interesting to make those connections…
Thank you for the comments on Beyonce's Pluto-Venus-Jupiter and the celebration of beauty that historically hasn't been celebrated! Brilliant ep. Becca makes learning a soothing endeavor, even her voice!
As a Taurus rising & *Aquarius stellium* , sometimes I struggle to connect with Venusian energy... thanks for demystifying some of it! Btw the purple snail dye originated in ancient Minoa
Actually, the evening star is a lover and a morning star is a warrior according to the Babylonians. Inanna is a lover, which is analogues to Aphrodite, and Ishtar is a warrior, analogues to Afina Pallada. The former is a romantic archetype, the latter is a glorious and glamorous archetype symbolizing the foresight, wisdom, knowledge, strategy and courage, which are all needed to win the battles of life.
What an excellent episode! Thank you, I learned so much ❤. I’d like to guess on the association of lungs - it is said in certain cultures that fear is the opposite of love. If one were to investigate the heat-map of where emotions are felt in a human body, fear is felt in the lung area predominantly. It is no surprise that people who are overwhelmed by repressed fears often suffer from asthma. I’m telling this from person experience. As fear is released slowly, love fills the lungs as a perfume of sweetness and freedom. Since Venus represents love, it is my understanding, that it represents that metaphorical perfume that lets the lungs breathe the full colours of life.
i’ve been so excited for this episode! my chart is pretty rough 😂 pluto in the first house, saturn and anaretic mars co-present in the 4th. im only saved by my beautiful exalted 5th house venus unafflicted and bonified by jupiter. so i’ve been WAITING to hear all about my girl 💫
The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree"....she is amazing also. Loved this, so helpful...as I have 3 planet's in ♎ also with the north node. All so poetically shared...thank you Chris, another outstanding, useful video.
Venus' rule over the lungs could be in reference to the Healing Art of Fragrance..the lungs being where we digest scent. *Loved the faeries laughter! Beautific poem 💗
Important to understand why murex 'purple' was considered regal and holy. It was not purple that we know today, but the colour of menstrual blood - clotted, stinky messy. And murex STANK to high, fishy heaven, when you had an enormous pile of them being crushed for dye, poor unfortunate creatures. No refrigeration in those days! Venus was the 'star of the sea' (Stella Maris), of mariners, exalted in Pisces, and the murex was under her rulership. (There is actually a long-spiked type called a 'Venus comb murex'.) The sails of Cleopatra's ships were dyed with murex blood. Still, today, priests' and monks' robes are some variation of this colour, the powerful, wise blood of the Goddess. So now you get some idea where 'cleanliness' comes into the picture. Yes, cleaning is part of the beauty ritual, but there is a clue in the word 'VENereal...ie, cleanliness specifically to prevent sexually transmitted diseases. (Hygiea was perhaps more about general cleanliness). Burning, itching, inflammation are all Mars symptoms, btw. Venus/Aphrodite/Ishtar was the Goddess of Sex. Prostitution came under her jurisdiction. Today, thanks the the Greco-Roman mythology we tend to recognize only her beauty and harmony aspect, but remember this Goddess/planet was and still is dual natured; as morning star, aggressive (usually 5 pointed) and evening star, harmonious (usually eight pointed), not one-dimensional, with her destructive power given over to Mars. A little, Taurus Sun with mutual Taurus Merc/Venus Gem (7th) opp Moon/BMLilith perspective on a Libra Moon day :)
A wonderful podcast!! Jupiter corresponds to the lungs in Traditional Medical astrology and there could be a connection with Venus through her exaltation - breathtakingly beautiful
Venus in Aries opposite Saturn - it hasn't been easy in relationships (to put it lightly) but I have finally figured it out in my late thirties :). Also, I remember Christopher Warnock mentioning in a different episode that "Venus in Aries spends like a drunken sailor" and I've had some issues with that in the past as well 🤣. I think Saturn is actually now working in my favour, I feel that I've figured out most of my Venus related issues at this point. So if you are reading this and are still struggling with a similar aspect - hang in there, do not despair, you will figure it out ❤️.
Thanks for the encouragement! I have Venus in Scorpio 12th house, conjunct Neptune opposite Saturn in Taurus 6th house. Very difficult issues with love and relationships. Still learning, not on the other side of that initiation yet.
waaaaah!!! I'm so excited! still at the beginning of the video, but I love Becca's way of communicating astrology. Meow meow / Becca's voice is like delicious tea for my ears.
Wow - thanks for this. With Venus front and center in my chart - Ascendant, Sun and Venus all in Libra - I feel like I've won the celestial lottery. Not that everything has been delightful and easy (Saturn occupies my 5th house, keeping it real and doling out important and heavy life lessons from time to time) but it has been a very cheery and social life so far. The other gift of Venus, In addition to handing me an overall friendly vibe, is that kind and generous people often pop up in my life, especially in difficult moments. I am so grateful the Goddess of Love and Beauty dropped her gifts in my lap. Thinking I need to build her a temple. I'll get on that - thanks for the great podcast!
Sometimes Becca uses so many adjectives while explaining one idea I find myself a little lost. And oddly her voice and way of speaking has put me in a very calm and sleepy state. Not at all due to her being boring, on the contrary she makes beautiful points - but because she has some type of calm energy.
I wonder if the lung connection of Valens relates to the production of sweet and harmonious sounds.... The contemporary polyvagal theory talks about the importance of sound and tone on the nervous system, and which tones are naturally calming. I think Stephen Porges discusses how the "higher angelic" tones are known to be I could easily relate the two... We need the power of our lungs and breath to produce these beautiful tones with our voice or with instruments like flutes. 💚💚
Do an episode talking about the degrees pls 🥺🥺🥺 My venus is in libra in the 11th house with my mercury. I love art and I'm quite vain tbh, I try to look good all the time and my self esteem depends on it. My friends say I'm quite charming and I often receive compliments on my different styles. I have venus sextile mars, venus trines saturn, venus trines uranus and venus sextile midheaven
49:28 Venus rules Taurus. Taurus also rules plants and ingesting plants which would include the usage of smoking herbs. This could be both for pleasure or medicinal.
Absolutely enjoyed this podcast. It was so insightful. Also, thank you for taking a generous time to fully delve into each subject matter on your channel. Being a content creator isn’t easy as it looks. So thank you.
I have an 8th House Venus in Capricorn at 4°55" nearly conjunct the Sun placed 10°3", Jupiter retrograde has a 2nd House opposition at 29°53" of Gemini. Venus trines a 4th House retrograded Saturn placement in Virgo at 0°10", Square a 5th House NN retrograde at 10°21" of Libra, and she stands InConjunct my Ascendant at 3°49" retrograde in Gemini. (Its worth mentioning I have 7th house Neptune and Mercury placements at 16°44" , 21°8"r in Sagittarius respectively aswell I've a 5th house Virgo Moon 20°13" and Libra Pluto at 16°35") Born to an absentee father and an unloving, narcissistic, and neglectful mother, I have lived a life plagued by abusive relationships, unrequited love interests and affairs, a relentless sense of either never being good enough or just plain old too much in relationships. Ive struggled at maintaining friendships aswell though my heart has been overfilled with generous, kind, patient, unconditional love for all especially going out of my way to help strangers in need of human empathy and compassion. I posses psychic and healing abilities leading to a sense that my life's purpose is to help heal the wounded whose cross paths cross mine, often taking on more than I can emotionally endure or sustain especially considering the substantial void mostly from the lack of reciprocity and my own extensive trauma and abuse wounds in need of healing. All of this making me prone to depression, anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, self medication, perfectionism, servitude, self sacrifice, loneliness, and introversion.
wonderful discussion of planet ... I think the energetic "magnetic" quality process of Venus wasn't explored to much... also the more negative aspects of Venus.. like slothfulness etc wasn't explored
I really don’t understand why you can not say that there are masculine and feminine archetypes, or alternatively that there are some planets that are linked to masculine or feminine archetypes. What is the problem of that since we are in the archetypal world that we should know doesn’t exist in reality.
Breathing stimulates the Vagus nerve which increases the parasympathetic side of things - the feel good side. Venus in Taurus H9 conjunct MC and algol (yikes). Love of foreign culture - metaphysics and philosophy. Beauty seen as expression of the Divine. Beauty as religion - can have a very Pagan feel. Beauty is Truth.
Venus in Libra in 9th here, love astrology, to socialize and all things Venusian #Domicle Lord. Like Chris i was born under a scorpio sun and aqua rising. Thanks Chris and Becca for sharing your time, energy and expertise with us ALL xoxo
Always fabulous and deep!! I must admit, when I first saw Rebecca’s last name, I thought, “hm, famous through her father’s legacy.” But then, one look at her accolades and academic career, phew!! How wonderful. Especially love her thesis paper title: The Back of Beyond: The Red Books of C. G. Jung and J. R. R. Tolkien. My father and I are studying The Red Book together and we enjoy talking about archetypes in history, literature, astrology and modern life. I’m currently at CIIS for my Psych degree and aiming for a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology. I feel like Rebecca’s legacy is a spot-lighted parallel to me and my fathers relationship. (And we’ll, I have Jupiter on my NN in the 4th). I’ll be looking into your school in Nevada City! Just an hour and a half away from me;) Well done! 🌟🙌🙏❤️
Listening to the part about Beyonce, me sitting here with a 1st house Venus conjunct my Scorpio Asc as well as Jupiter in the 4th house and 1st house Pluto while looking white as all hell, dressed in all black, dark hair, lol, well yeah that Scorpio look, completely different compared to her insane amount of libra placements, even though I have a Libra sun.
Pulled up since my moon sign and north node is Taurus and Venus is the tilling planet of Taurus. I’m a Virgo, but the more I learn, the more I identify as a Taurus.
Venus moon neptune t square + venus ( cancer 12h) trine pluto. Hm...i do feel art and music. My venus can understand sublime but can also handle "darker" moods in art.
I have Venus on my Ascendant at 29 degrees in my 6th house in Pisces. She doesn't have any strong aspects, but she does square my MH, trine Pluto in the 2nd, and a few other minor aspects.
Please make an episode on the origin on the seven-day-week! I've been wondering about this since I was a kid and I've never found a satisfying answer :)
The breath is the most intimate of exchanges, in many ways. Beyond bodies coming together, whether we are aware of it or not, we share the air we breathe together. Air, even more than water, is merge-ant. Additionally, how do people make music? Beyond rhythm, our voices are how we connect, give praise and share our expression. Mercury may rule communication in an intellectually expressive way, but I would dare to say that Venus rules the emotional realms of expression, through music made on instruments, but also music made with the body...
This discussion is so interesting. Enjoying all the research you've shared. So encouraged to see another generation interested in astrology and taking it to a higher level.... Thank you. ⭐
Libra sun..venus in scorpio and the 10th..my cap rising usually keeps me in check money wise but I spent way too much money buying things for my Venus altar last night!!! And im not done yikes
Oh, and my husband (10 years older than me) has his Mercury exactly conjunct (to the minute) my Venus in 11th House Pisces. We were friends first (11th House)...but we were strongly attracted to each other since we first met (I was especially attracted to his voice and his hands)...but we kept it friendly for several years before we acted on our attraction. And though we've been married now for 13 years, we still consider each other to be 'best friends' as well as 'best lovers'.
Just coming back to the comments to give an honorable mention after listening to the sweetness that Becca described is Paul McCartney and his song, The Kiss of Venus. It's a must listen for any fan of his, fan of Venus, and fan of astrology lol. As someone in a 5H Venus profection with natal Venus in Cancer, I've been making a lot of art and listening to this podcast and song and enjoying every single second of it all. I've learned so much about my Venusian nature. Thank you!
Thanks for this...both of you are great. Did a thorough job. An old Libran man with a Scorpion rising...yes, been a challenge of romantic illusions, delusions, platonic relationships, limerence. I did find real love (and religion) in my life. At least, I wrote plenty of love songs and still a purveyor/DJ of songs. You hope that you learn from it. I never did have a Libran woman in my life, although many chances. You might want to note the feminine/masculine role reversals for Librans between the sexes. Coverunner Radio.
Eventho this was recorded 2 months ago I just found it today and there was a nice synchronicity that happened tonight (oct27'21) on PBS there was a show called "secrets of the dead:lady sapiens" -a very venusian episode . All these tiny sculptures carved out of ivory of a wolly mammoth-we call "venus figurines-you've seen them, the big voluptuous bellies the pubic triangle , large breasts with little to no head or legs,- they are not at all what our ancient bones reveal women to look like-so then why is that the way they are carved&replicated over&over ?! It is direct homage to an 💡ideal : exactly what y'all just discussed:strength,How important a woman was to Fertility &the Ability to bear children. Also the episode discussed things venusian like the craftsmanship in teeny tiny decorations &how women made things beautiful for their own eyes to look at,(conceit) things larger hands wouldn't have been able to do, it brought in y'all s Mars discussion of course by asking if maybe the women threw spears and hunted for meat (elbow joints)even if they weren't the ones making the arrows. _Could]Women were technically the first doctors if they foraged for plants for food, then they also knew their medicinal use (flowers) loved thinking of this during Scorpio season-the underground speaking to us from beyond the ever so delicately preserved tomb & how it was everyone, men, women & children who traveled into dark dark caves (👣) footprints reveal that it wasn't "too spooky for girls" and made art work relating us with other mammals -the hand print being the artist signature, the only provable print was found to be (insert Venus glyph here!) lastly: grandmothers: if a woman could connect to her "cycle" then she was able to control her own pregnancy. Imagine /the respect men gave women in these days, they were smart enough to stay away from inbreeding ! So then they were smart enough to know how babies are made(men/rape/unexpected pregnancy ect thus meaning that the woman got to say"come hither" lol) anyways while mom has one bb on the tit, the other one is old enough to go off to day care and not bother her. Grandmothers are the daycare providers. Again imagine your toddler saying "why why. Why times a billion" old wise women with all the answers is able to answer that. Ok maybe not with words but with literally everything that child needs to know to be successful in the future! &maybe it seems small right now to think about b/c we live in this time, but I'm a Scorpio rising and I just found that out so I'm just kind of sitting in it& how it feels. A rising sign is first impressions, what people think of you but also always a mystery to the person asking the question. The text book says i have black eyes as dark as my soul and eyebrows with a unicorn. Check. Must be true cause it's true. It's looking at people, that's what astrology is for me. I don't have a brain that will retain any of this stuff lol my sun is gemini! I'll catch my house on fire if i light a candle b/c I'll forget about it!.. But my point is.. There's a ancient being inside all of us. I try to listen for it. I stood outside watching that aries full moon come up last week and I swear I felt just as excited as I was 3 billion or w/e years ago. All these words yall said today it was like pop pop pop yup these words in relation to how it makes me feel inside it's soo, magical. Like it just pierces(venus things)right thru my cerebral brain and strikes my soul. & yeah we have this quick, smart world to live in& so my soul also tries to learn as much as it can but my stars , they just can't. I was meant to be a non thinker, a nobody abandoned at birth so that i could grieve a nobodys death right outside my work lastnight, to bawl for no reason other than my own unloved memories, compassionate to the forgotten. (a tiny drunk asian crossing a busy street) (I'm a delivery driver-my Mercury and no one at my work really cared. They don't know him. But i didn't know him either yet i found myself thinking of him 24hrs later. I looked over and the asians next door who don't know him either, had a vigil table set up. Incense, flowers, cookies, apples.. I took a glowstick, acorn & a snowflake obsidian. The old lady was bowing and praying-idk but it was so beautiful. It was so sweet & kind. Maybe thats why i cried. Idk. Any of us could die at any second of any given day(car crash stats)or be on a different path(alcoholism), or poverty line, or side of holywar or globe etc. What's beautiful is thinking there is some rhyme to the reason. That even though I'm not a fan per se, i am a listener. Bruce springsteen"secret garden", Billy Joel"always a women" why in the world am i up with these stars absolutely obsessed with music? B/c Whitney Houston is literally an angel. Then&now. B/c stardust. It makes it all OK. It makes life. It answers fleeting questions and wants to be your best friend. Astrology is it's communication. & earthlings can't help but be moved by that overwhelming waft of awareness i mean where else but this age of aquarius do we have such a thing as reverse trick or treat?! It wasn't until our great conjunction that all these months like this month is domestic abuse awareness and breast cancer awareness month-never meant anything to me& now I'm like omg i get it! I stopped getting high on mj and I'm finally turning into a hippie! I'm like "a w a r e n e s s" (think tommy chong) (writing on my car windows like : be aware of doctors cutting body parts off, practice breast massage!(lymph nodes in bra area) or: be aware of the very specific traits of abuse! Libra was so bae in her ♒️ awareness this year. Truth upon a stand when ur a patho liar, r kelly, elizabeth holmes, ..
I loved this so much!! I have Venus in Taurus in the 12th house with Jupiter there. Moving into a trine with Saturn and Uranus in the 8th in Capricorn. I’ve always found it a bit difficult to pinpoint my experiences of having both benefics in the 12th house. But the best way to describe it is really wanting/needing some isolation 😂 My best ideas/inspiration come when I’m alone with my thoughts. The Venusian qualities are definitely fused with Jupiter. Fine dining, expensive attire, wanting to be surrounded by high end comfort etc. I’m more about quality rather than quantity. And usually I enjoy indulging in those things more when I’m alone haha sometimes being overindulgent. I’m an artist and I find that I’m really good at bringing others’ artistic visions to life. (8th house stuff perhaps)
So interesting! I have a grand trine with Venus, Neptune, and Saturn like Tolkien (mine is in fire, not air) and I agree with the description. Same houses as Tolkien too (mine is Venus (16 degrees) in Aries in the 10th, Neptune (16 degrees) in Sag in the 6th, Saturn (9 degrees) in Leo in the 2nd). Definitely an affinity for romantic/idealistic love, butterflies are my thing, also the elementals. I have Sun (15 degrees) Venus Retrograde (16 degrees) conjunct in Aries. Also Sun/Venus opposition Pluto (12 degrees). This video has been so helpful in understanding those placements! Also, born with Venus retrograde in Aries, my progressed Venus doesn’t leave Aries until I’m 61. Spending 61 years of my life with Venus in Aries.
9th house Venus (conjunct Neptune) Sag here. 6th house, Saturn squaring Venus. I've been lucky in love (maybe too lucky). Found love early. Lots of lessons around integrity. Love is a mystery that keeps me in deep question. Illusionment, Disillusionment. Art lover... Also philosophically my pole star is Beauty/Harmony. This crystalized internally before I every studied astrology...
I have always been that person who believes that everyone is beautiful in their own way and I can always find beauty and charm in everyone. I have Moon conjunct Venus, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus in Capricorn 10th house. This episode really consolidates my ability to perceive aesthetics.
How beautiful the description of "The Kiss". Reminds me of a favorite painting by Klimt. Assertion and allure. Thank you this image will stay with me enhancing my understanding of the Venus/Mars story.
“Frea” is Old English for Frigg. They’re the same goddess. But it was correct to note that she plays multiple roles: Queen of the Aesir (through the King of the Aesir, Odin / Wotan), but also shield maiden of the Vanir & ultimately a foe to Odin come Ragnarok. Friday = Frigg’s day, or more likely “Freaday,” or something similar.
Loved this episode! Especially Becca's delineations for Venus contacts with outer planets among famous musicians. Janis Joplin's Piece of My Heart is such a great archetypal expression of Venus/Pluto....I noticed Britney Spears also has a tight Venus/Pluto square. Definitely comes through, particularly in songs like "Gimme More" and "Piece of Me"
Thank you! My Venus is Conjunct Uranus in 2nd H Gemini. Being straight, I married 2 June born men. Didn't work! A Cancer Sun, I have Scorpio in my 7 H. No planets nor aspects. Had love for several Scorpios but they destroyed me. Solo and lonely now.
The Venusian podcast is a much more eloquent conversation compared to the Martian podcast 😞being a Mars in Scorpio in the 10th house I didn't feel like I got a proper lowdown on that one (I counted the number of uhms). Do over!
I have Venus in Gemini fifth whole sign house and opposite Saturn. I do not have children but have always loved children and children are very happy in my presence. Venus is sextile my Aries moon.
I have Venus in Scorpio 12th house, conjunct Neptune opposite Saturn in Taurus 6th house. Very difficult issues with love and relationships. Still learning, not on the other side of that initiation yet.
“Vitious” is an archaic spelling of vicious. It isn’t an opposite. It probably has the same root as “vitiate” which means to spoil the quality of something. A vitious person corrupts their virtue with their vices.
I really enjoy a majority of information provided by Chris and Becca. Not sure why there is an aversion to the idea of gender when it comes to the signs and planets. I did appreciate Becca's description as to how she views the idea of gender in astrology. How will removing gender or changing the definition of gender in astrology evolve it?
