It’s time for a new Wonder Wardrobe example. Today I will create a summer capsule wardrobe suitable for the rectangular (straight) body type. Let's do this!

I know she would love to do it. But she lives in a cold country probably we can copy the style and look for clothes made of light materials. We Filipinos are creative and we can surely replicate her capsule wardrobe ideas.

She only used tops, bottoms and dresses on this one. She didn't even use any layering piece so just find tops or bottoms in fabrics to suit your lifestyle/climate. I find linens, cotton, lyocell, modal, bamboo and viscose(sort of) in lighter density to be the best fabrics for hot humid weather. You can also take in to consideration your own skin color(your undertones), your personal style, and your body type in choosing your wardrobe. Just take the overall approach she's using in creating a capsule wardrobe and adopt it to you.

this is a great wardrobe. i just recently organised my clothes into a winter capsule wardrobe and realised that most of my winter clothes are white, black, red and navy with some more geometric prints, so this wardrobe is great inspiration

Great video!! :) LOVE pink and red together. I would love to see capsule/brand ideas for a more eclectic style (something like...classic bohemian grunge?! I love these outfits! A very nice balancy between dramatic geomatry and girly colours (the pink and red) and ruffles. (Not for me though, those colours, I'm a soft autumn and look completely washed out in anything to bright)

Daria, I love your content! I live in Poland and heard a lot about how bad is fast fashion for people and environment but you are the one who turned my attention to more ecofriendly and sustainable fashion 😊 I would love to see Wonder Wordrobe for someone like me, running my own business. We run garden center with my husband. Most od the time I work outdoor, and I am dirty from plants a lot. And its always cold for me so most od the time I wear a lot of layers and I don't look good in that... If you can help I'd appreciate. And thanks again for what you are doing!

I wouldn't say it was hard to put the capsule wardrobe together, but it did take awareness and intention. For a year I have been operating with 40 pieces in my closet (I only own 40 hangers). So for the spring capsule, I took out all the heavier winter weight pieces and then played mix and match with what I had left and looked for holes. I allow myself to make one purchase every 6 months (and also to thrift anything that I want---as long as I am willing to replace something in my closet with it.) A big takeaway from your video was I photographed each piece and uploaded it to my computer so I could combine outffits onscreen. Very cool and helpful! I had never done that before. I also like the boldness of your color combinations in one of the capsules you made, so I used that. My thinking right now is that fewer pieces of higher quality is what makes a beautiful wardrobe, so as I have resources I will slowly replace cheaper pieces with real quality. thank you for the lovely videos, you rock!

This is probably my favorite capsule example you've made so far! It is sooooo pretty! I love the palette & the shapes 😍 I'd really love to see an androgynous style inspired capsule (if you've already made one I'm sorry, maybe I haven't seen it yet!). I'm a huge fan of this style & I try to wear my clothes this way a lot. You're process of picking & balancing different masculine & feminine pieces would really help me out, too! I need some insight, haha.

your videos are great!!!!!!!!! I've done a few body shape calculators and it comes out as straight and rectangle. I've always thought I was an apple or upside down triangle. I am plus sized so I don't know if that makes a different. should I treat myself as a straight because 4 calculators say so?

Ооооочень классные комплекты 😍 но мне кажется,что они не совсем для повседневной будничной жизни? (Хотя конечно зависит от стиля жизни человека) . Зато смысл понятен-небольшое количество вещей и много-много комплектов. P.S. Можно запрос-идею для видео?:) капсулы для путешествий ,так чтоб взять только ручную кладь,но выглядеть иметь разные комплекты .

Пока вещи были раскомплектованы, я думала, как же Вы их будете сочетать, но после подбора комплектов я пришла в восторг. При моей большой любви к простым формам и серому цвету, даже я надела бы на себя все сочетания, это нереально круто. Хотела спросить, у Вас нет видео, как создать монохромную капсулу. normal, straight shoulder I would say. But not apple type. My shoulders and hips are about same size, and my waist is not so defined, so from behind it's almost rectangular, but D size... :( and small torso, when I try to add a belt I only see my bust!

Thank you Daria, very interesting video. However, I have a problem right from the start : the colours from my ideal colour palette don't match !!! Black, white, red, medium blue... So far so good. But I would like to add turquoise and yellow !!! I need some advice !

+Ariadna Ch. de Bruijn the criteria in choosing these brands was that they have a style esthetic I was looking for for this particular capsule. Of course they all are well known brands, that offer high quality clothes that are produced ethically.

Nope. I never wear black! Too “heavy” for me. Washes me ought, weighs me down. Navy is my neutral, and beiges, sometimes brown. Is that so crazy? I love the pizzas of this wardrobe, love the red pink and white. I just would like navy pants, and a navy/white print skirt, not black. Actually, I love all your wardrobes, though!

Hi Diana, it took me serious study, working experience and continuing curiosity to learn color theory and more. I managed to put it all down in a video course that keeps on evolving.
