Same. Falcon with the drones looked cooler in action and Bucky as Cap trying to live up to that legacy while having to potentially fight off some remnants of Hydra programming could've been a great premise. Also, Bucky's actor has surprisingly the most charisma for the role. Probably better than Chris Evans too from what I saw in the series.
@J-Hue I would love to see a WI ter Soldier movie with Sebastian still in the role. We follow Bucky's journey after he fell off the train, found by Hydra as he goes from James Buchanan Barnes in the Winter Soldier. We get cameos for Natasha Romanov, Wolverine up to him seeing Steve again, but that's just a pipe dream because Hollywood's writers will f@$k it up. Or they could make it a TV series but again they'll Jack that up too 😠😔
I agree that no one take the place of the real Captain, but sounds as though it could be interesting to see how Wilson does as now donning the Captain's role.
He is not replacing Steve Rogers, he is carrying on the mantle of Captain America …which is a very difficult task for anyone, particularly someone without super powers.
Falcon and Winter soldier was probably my favorite show in Disney Plus so I'm keeping an open mind but lately marvel movies been blah but I'm hoping the veteran MCU actors can make a difference
Shame they can't just use Disney plus as a intro shows to their movies. As a fill in gaps, then trying to cram everything into a movie and wind up loosing the story.

there have been several cuts of this new film shown to test audiences and they did not like it. So they keep refilming scenes and adding new scenes. Can they fix it? Marvel has disappointed me again and again the past couple years.
Nobody can replace Steve Rogers as Cap - powered or not. I don't care what their color is either. What makes Cap is Steve Roger's morals, values, ethics. Steve's character and experiences. No one can replace him!

Sam was a good partner and hero, but he was and is no Captain America. In Marvel comics Steve Rogers is the epitome of overcoming obstacles, determination, integrity, honor and a whole bunch of other virtues and values we'd all like to be in our heads and hearts, but fall short of. He's overcome being bullied as a skinny kid, losing everything and everyone to time, being told to kowtow to the government or give up the shield - more than once, not just during Civil War - and he gave it up for principles. He's so above and beyond that the other superheroes AND THE VILLAINS, AND SOME OF THE GODS respect and look up to him. I love Sam Wilson, but he will never inspire that type of confidence and respect that Steve Rogers did.
@@antonisule1590 I think the mistake I've made, is believeing the video is from the new movie, when it is in fact from the old movie where Carter died. This RU-vid is a bit misleading, in that most of it is old footage, and only few stills are form the new Cap4 movie.

Sorry as much as your trying to hype up this film as a good thing it isn't. this is going to fail because no one wanted him as Captain America. Bucky should of became Captain America but they changed it for the purpose of diversity and that is all. He should of stayed the Falcon as he portrayed that character well and people like him as the Falcon but not as Captain America.
See this is what seems to happen a lot. These people assume that every time there is a minority or woman in a role that they think a minority or woman “belong in” they assume that the minority or woman is only playing the role for the purpose of diversity and therefore they quickly proceed to bash the project as woke garbage …without spending anytime considering any other reasons like a particular storyline from the comics being used. The fact that these people are so quick to turn to making negative/toxic comments based on so little knowledge of where these stories are coming from says a lot about those people

i will never understand why people love to share and watch leaks for upcoming movies or video games. it just ruines the intentional experience that creator wants for you when it releases. i had to stop halfway thru because this video is just saying too much
So I have to say I’m not a fan of Harrison Ford been brought in as a replacement I think he is too old and infirm to carry the role forward and as he is in the thunderbolts I doubt they brought him in just to end the character, it’s a sad reality that people his age can just stop working for almost no reason, so let’s assume that the recording has finished for both films and his character lives though both of them Ford will need to still be healthy and active passably up to 10 years from now just to get the next film out as the MCU tends to not do state follow ups and if they don’t end the character at that then we could be talking 15 years from now maybe 20 I think anyone can see the problem, I would love it if our favourite actors could stick around forever but age and illness can literally come out of nowhere even for a fairly young actor like Jeremy Renner you could have a snowplough suddenly fall on you nearly killing you (poor guy) one day your building snowmen the next you broke nearly every bone in your body I think Renner used up 8 of his 9 lives on that one I’m glad he is still with us. As for Sam been captain America yes he has been charged with the mantle and given the shield by Steve but he is still earning the name and also the rank of team leader, Steve wasn’t automatically the leader of the avengers he earned the rank in the first film when they all looked to him and Tony and the became joint leaders, Sam hasn’t had a moment like that yet Heck there kinda isn’t an avengers team at the min which is one of the main reasons the MCU is flapping in the wind it’s got no clear direction, at the end of Ultron we got introduced to the new team before the film ended but when endgame ended we didn’t get the passing of the torch we didn’t get a new Avengers team so while the avengers campus is still the Tony isn’t around to fund it anymore (though his business still exists) the only guy left from the avengers team is falcon/new cap so he would need to rebuild the new team and get them to trust his leadership that’s a lot to do in a single film.

It's gonna be another dud. NOBODY wants to see an Anthony Mackie "Captain America". Maybe we'll all get lucky and this will put Marvel Studios into such financial hurt they'll fire everyone and get back to making good content.
