@@billdwyer5719 Nah, it's going to be a trans man who accidentally painted himself red, when he was doing a stop oil protest, also had crazy glue on his hands that is why he caught the shield so easily.
@@gagnarorkthat’s got nothing to do with it but nice try with the race card… Buckey was Captain America after Steve then it was Sam and it should’ve kept going in that direction. I’ve always had issues with not following the character arc instead of changing things around just because. Marvel already teased not having the original silver surfer first. It’s going to be a woman! I have no issue with a silver surfer being a woman especially when it happens in the comics but don’t screw up the origin. Have a woman as the second silver surfer not the first. I know there’s more casting problems with characters over the lifespan of the MCU and it seems to be getting worse as we go. The worst so far for me was not replacing Chadwick with a new male lead in black panther 2. Making his sister black panther was a bad idea and the movie suffered for it
@@billdwyer5719Least its a multiversa alternate version of silver surfer like in the comics. While Bucky would have been cool as Cap, i dont see him holding that mantle long at all just because the guy's already got his own issues he's working through. The cap mantle would have just made it more complicated for him.
@@jemmellpyron2527 and a guy with no power at all is going to be able to do shit to any super villain or hero? How the hell is Sam going to do shit to Red Hulk? The guys going to get destroyed easily. Chris Evens should still be Cap at the end of the day and that’s just the way it is. Nobody is going to do anything close to what he did with the Cap character. He was perfect.
Please, someone, explain to me how Sam can be Captain America and do all these amazing superhero things WITHOUT super soldier serum or WITHOUT an Iron Man type suit? How?! It’s absolutely stupid.
How proud of themselves do you think they were when they thought to use “A Brave New World” for a story about governmental corruption. Like you just know some executive got a six figure bonus for that stroke of creative genius.
Olny thing i want from this guy is to A:Be badass and B:Have a strong sense or rightness becuase thats captain americas whole thing if that missing his sense of goodness then its just some dude with a shield.
This seems interesting. Apart from what I learned from the Lego leaks (Very little), I didn’t know much about this film, but it looks compelling. It’s like if Whitehouse down/London has fallen was an MCU film. And it seems cooler than said out loud. Plus having Ross run for president is awesome.
Aren't trailers supposed to get you excited about the movie? Honestly, I'm not seeing anything that really makes me want to see this. *Red Hulk shows up* Well, at least that's something, but come on.
The Captain American trilogy is arguably the best and most cohesive trilogy in the entire MCU. This movie had better be good, it needs to live up to that high standard.
The MCU needs to conclude Sam's "worthiness to be Captain America" arc in this movie. It has dragged on through the movies and TV show. Until the narrative moves on, we wont see a lot of meaningful progress of Sam becoming his iteration of Captain America. He'll simply continue to be a substitute rather than the rightful inheritor of the mantle. Many can argue they don't care for him as Captain America but right now, writers are restricted by the constraints of the character continually being doubted in the story. Take away the constraints and allow writers the opportunity to explore fresh narratives with the character.
A little optimistic. I think Anthony Mackie is going to have to pull his weight for the movie to work. Also Harrison Ford as Red Hulk going to take some getting use to.
