Parasyte Netflix Korea live action starring Jeon So Nee Shinichi Izumi and Migi revealed for season 2, Jeong Su-In read letter from Heidi. Su-In joins with The Grey team and Choi Joon-kyung. #parasytethegrey #shinichiizumi #netflix
Currently it's 6am by my side and I just finished watching the series and tell yourself that I screamed when I saw shin'ichi and I even woke up my mother 🤣
this ending was so epic, i dont think ive seen a live action and an anime come full circle like this. It's so cool that instead of doing an adaptation they decided to show us what went on in korea at the same time as the events of the anime
When I first started it I thought:” this is the way to do live action, don’t adapt what’s already there, expand the universe” and then you hear them switch to Japanese and it’s : wait… waaaaaait!!!! Are they?!!!! yeah…. Judging by all the other comments… we all got excited 👌🏻
Easy that would require the South Korean director who worked on train to Busan to work with the Japanese company Toho. Remember Hitoshi Iwaaki and his company actually holds the for the license for the entire universe. Which means your negotiation would look like this would have the South Koreans Japanese and the third party the country that will want to expand the franchise. If you don't do that then Iwaaki's company can sue the foreign company that did the show without his license.
@yuutousakaki6098 , it would be awesome! I think with countries that so much animosity towards each other, it would take an existential crisis for them to unite and make peace.
WHEN I TELL U, I SCREAMED WHEN THE LADY STARTS SPEAKING JAPANESE AND THEN CASUALLY SHOWED MASAKI SUDA'S FACE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS "SHINICHI" AND I DIED RIGHT THERE
OMG SAMEEE!! Before this series came out I rewatched the live action Soo many times and wonder if they'll continue it and IT WAS SOOO UNEXPECTED SEEING SHINICHI!! I LITERALLY SCREAMED
When he said his name, I felt so excited!!!😁 This is the new hype and I hope they continue with the amazing storyline. Imagine linking all parasytes between Korea and Japan then the rest of the world. The show has unlimited opportunity to have many seasons😊
Recent interview with the Director Yeon. 1) The last Shinichi ending timeline is 8 years after season 1 story. 2) His age is at late 20's. (That is why director decide to choose different actor that suits rather than the Orginal Parasyte Shinichi actor) 3) If Season 2 is made, Shinichi will be in the story and be an important role for sure.
But it doesn't make sense because the parasytes infected the world at the same time and here is and the new unit was formed recently and if this Sinichi is from 8 years later why the parasytes infected Korea just now
@@sleepwalkerscum485the original one is parasyte the maxim shinichi is the main character in that one, the Netflix series is an extension from the original.
i think they use the same actor as the one on the japanese movie parasyte here on the grey. they look the same and and have the same name so yeah they are the same actor
@@user-jn8sr5yo5qsorry I wrote my response like an idiot. In the original series it was based in Japan, following the main character Izime. In the tv series, it’s based in Korea so therefore Korean. When he speaks, it’s in Japanese indicating a cross over
Man I had tears in my eyes when I saw Shinichi and the zoom on Migi was the cherry on top. My wife was not really familiar with the Parasyte story and was confused at my reaction
For those who were confused about why shinichi is back (based on my theory) since shinichi have alot of experience and information about the parayste, he may think it's a good idea to share his experience to other country to help countless of lives. Maybe he will share information like for example, gotou that can fused with 5 parasyte in 1 body and some like reiko that is different from any other parayste (a good ver of parasyte) which can be saved without getting eliminated.
Even tho migi is hybernating, when migi said he will let shinichi take full control of his hand. I think he also meant shinichi have the ability to take full control of his infected hand (not migi but himself). Remember, migi uses his part to repair shinichi's heart. So maybe shinichi can still fight using it's infected hand, but it won't be migi that is controlling it now. It will be himself to fight with the ability instead of migi.
I do get your point I wonder how would you fit in Reiko into the South Korean series timeline. One thing I can see is something like this they film the scene inside a Japanese school in South Korea where Shinchi's 🇰🇷👩🏻 equivalent Su-in runs across with Reiko🇯🇵👩🏻
@dementia4452 thank you for telling me about this and I wonder how would you put the South Korean show in the timeline of the Japanese series the original. Should I watch the original Japanese shows then South Korean version
migi probably won't come out (yet!!!), he said he'd be sleeping, and has only so far came back when there's an emergency, so we probably won't see migi for a good while, if at all
@@Jupiter.141 at the end of the anime, Migi said that he'll be sleeping. Except this would last indefinitely. In short, Izumi would basically have his own arm back while Migi continues sleeping. Still, I'm sure Migi would look out for him when the need arises or for emergency
@@joyoobility9176 this is the continuation of shinichi's arc though. I am very much aware of the ending of anime, manga and the live action japanese version. As mentioned, he wouldn't be there to help the team grey if migi hasn't woken up yet. Migi is dormant, it can literally wake up at any given time when necessary and judging by this scene you can feel shinichi's maturity so there's that room where you can wonder how far did these two improved.
Well I feel like Shinichi and Migi will both have a hard time to fight the Korean parasytes as they are more agile, faster and stronger than those he faced in Japan. They still need a lot of help now and Migi's condition is still may or may not be good right now once he awakes
Even without Migi, Shinichi became superhuman on his own after being healed by Migi's cells, being able to easily surpass world records in various athletic feats and took out the final boss without having Migi attached Korean Parasytes boutta get clapped if this Captain Japan gets a weapon
It literally gave me goosebumps when I watch the scene where Shinichi and Ms Choi met lol. It truly respects the original and the cliffhanger is killing me lol.
@@user-ck7gz5hy6z How does Shinichi even exist? There are so many plot holes and it's slow af as well with no reward, except the last cameo. Still why does he even exist, moreover parasytes are not new, their information has been released to the public years ago, if they are indeed adding Shinichi to the story.
So this basically shows that The Grey is a sequel in the sense that the events happened in the same universe as the original manga & anime & live action movie. But it takes place in South Korea and the anime took place in Japan. Interesting concept
the Grey is a spin off, but I get what you mean. The ending scene in the Grey is a time skip so we're gonna see a mature Shinichi and def the older Grey cast
The Shinichi scene was so fuckin hype! Even if they don't do much with him and the original story, the Netflix series was pretty good and this scene made me happy.
This also proves that nations aren't really communicating w each other when it came to the parasyte attacks. Choi and Grey claimed in their early briefing they were the most advanced all over the Globe when it came to information on the Parasytes. Having watched the anime, it's safe to assume all the events of Parasytes in Japan with Shinichi occured years prior than in Korea. Shinichi will open the door for Team Grey with better understanding and oppenness when it comes to future Parasyte threats and possibilities.
I just finished watching... and OH-m-G! when he said his name ?! I was screaming like little girl, and I still have goosebumps!! I really wish they would make season 2 with both countried casts, I know it is going to be pretty hard but man that would ne so epic!!
unlike almost everyone i know, i got into anime rather later in life. my sister and brother were into it their whole kid lives, but i was kinda forced to watch parasyte when i was 16 (im 23 now), and it is still my favorite anime. when the live adaptation came out i was so sad that it didn't follow the original story line. the MINUTE Shinichi's name came up, i literally started to sob out of pure joy. what a full circle moment. i can't wait until the new season comes out!
I just finished watching the series. To be honest, i did not his appearance and Migi at the end and it makes me feel goosebumps out loud when I see this scene.
I'm so surprise for making his appearance, you can't start Parasyte the grey without the real OG/MC of the manga series, can't wait for season 2!!!!!!!!
I find it interesting that Migi (literally means right) is with Izumi who is played by Masaki Suda, who once played a character named philip or raito (can be read as right) in Kamen rider W
Brooo that shit caught me off guard i havent seen the anime since like 2015 and I immediately knew he was the main character when he said his name. This adaptation was really good had me hooked from ep 1 and it seems like he has his parasyte on his hand!
You are correct I wonder who would voice that character in the anime/live action it's an actress that has to do the voice for it. The solution for Heidi🇰🇷 Migi🇯🇵 should be taking Japanese Le Sserafim members Heidi Sakura Migi Kazhua that way Migi speaks like someone from the Kansai region Kyoto Nara Osaka Himeji Kobe.
Season 2: Symbiote Mutants (Information obtained from abroad) 1. Izumi Shinichi's parasitic clone cells have been revived at this time or integrated into a super mutant symbiote in a new form, retaining the consciousness of the human host, and the whole body is already parasitic cells 2. At this time, Japan or other countries have begun to study symbiote weapons, investigating where the mother of the parasitic beast comes from, whether humans can clone and cultivate larvae, and the villain boss may be an enhanced version of the original 5-in-1 parasitic mutant 3. Mutants of different races and countries who failed to parasitize will appear and form organizations, both good and bad camps 4. Shin Izumi is a reporter on the surface, but he is actually a senior expert and agent of an international organization 5. This time I came to Korea to tell you that your progress is too slow. I will report to you the progress of symbiote research around the world and the information of the villain organization
A lot of people say Migi is gone. But Migi is just hibernating inside Shinichi that's why in the ending of Parasyte: The gray, the camera zooms in to Shinichi's hand indicating Migi is still alive and is sleeping inside Shinichi. Gosh im excited for Season 2!!
people who didn't watched the og ending or forgot wouldn't know that Migi and Shinichi technically fused, so Migi is technically alive, but in a dormant phase.
Whats funny is that when the show wasn't going to adapt the story from the manga or anime. I knew that they were going to have shinichi as fan service somewhere in the middle or at the end, and I was laughing ass off when choi spoke in japanese and revealed who will play shinichi. I felt like it was impossible that they wouldn't have shinichi
