This speedrun was done in a single run. For some reason the screen turns black everytime there is a loading screen. It might be Fraps' fault. The time may be easily improved, as I screwed up many times.
Impressive. Very impressive. I've never got to the first boss when I played this as a kid and you beat the game in one seating. I guess it takes this old-school Nintendo-like perseverance to beat the game. I liked this game and tried to beat first level many times, but my inherent perfectionism didn't let me to miss all secrets and gold stuff. Much respect. Very impressive. Such accomplishment. Cheers.
Hey, watched the whole thing. Had a few flaws, but for a single run it is perfect. How long have you played the game? From time to time I go back for a treasure run and fun. I think I will try a speedrun like yours :) GOOD JOB :)
+ACTPOHABTa Before recording this speedrun I just practiced completing each level without trying to play the whole game as fast as I could. This was actually the first time I timed myself playing the game as fast as possible. I believe that I could easily beat this speedrun's time. Without bigger screw ups I could probably finish it under an hour. Maybe some day I will try to beat it. I have played the game since 1999 when I was 7 years old and it took me 2 years to finish it with a few pauses :D I keep coming back to it every year at least twice since 1999. I have made some more videos back in the day with level speedruns. They are somewhere on my channel. Try and record your own speedrun :)
